A PROVERB A DAY
Do not forsake wisdom, and it will protect you. Proverbs 4:6 Everybody wants to live a good and successful life, but unfortunately, not everyone gets to enjoy the wonderful life we all desire. The Bible mentions someone who was able to be successful as long as he continued to follow God; Ohis - OBSERVATION name was King Solomon. He is recorded as one of the richest and wisest men who ever lived. It was because of wisdom that he was able to be so successful - wisdom which he shares with us in the book of Proverbs. Following the proverbs mentioned in the Bible gives us the same wisdom as Solomon to live a good and successful life. Getting this kind of wisdom doesn’t happen overnight. Just

we need constant reminders of God’s wisdom to live them out in our life. This journal is designed to get you started. By reading a proverb a day, you’ll get through the entire book of Proverbs in one month. Do this each month and you’ll have a simple reading plan to gain wisdom for a successful life.

Over the next 5 weeks, we will be studying the book of Proverbs as a church. This journal is designed to help you dig into the wisdom this book provides and truly begin to embody it day to day. One of the most impactful ways we can do this is by studying Scripture that will help us develop this wisdom in our lives. To help us with this practically, we will be using the S.O.A.P. method of Bible study for various verses each week. As you’re slowly reading the chapter, mark the scriptures that stand out to you.
