ASK For Tutoring is an educational service provider specializing in tutoring, mentoring, learning support & professional development programs for K-12 youth or adult learners. Members can attend programs at our Learning Resource Center or access virtually nationwide! ASK For Tutoring programs help keep youth & families engaged in a variety of programs to enable them to become high achievers beyond their dreams!
The purpose of the African American Authors Showcase is to expose and connect children and authors of color. We hope to increase reading levels for children living in Delaware County by connecting them with books that match their interest and culture. Research shows that youth will read more when engaged in literature based activities that match their interest. Such exposure to multiple genres will help expand their general knowledge. This event will also promote family engagement and support of local black owned businesses throughout Delaware County and Greater Philadelphia. This event is hosted by ASK For Tutoring, in partnership with Breakthrough For Me, Changing Lanes Learning Center & Shugar Shack Soulfood.
