We strive to provide an environment that encourages professional and personal excellence. Our total rewards philosophy recognizes individual efforts, is directly linked to our financial success and supports our core values. This year we put more emphasis on providing competitive base salaries. We did this through our improved shift differentials which we launched in July. In October, we are excited to enhance our base pay for all customer facing agents! These new base increases are effective Monday, October 26th. Going forward, we will be moving to an annual merit review cycle in October of each year. This means that all customer facing agents will be eligible for a merit increase in October. We will no longer have quarterly review cycles. In addition to the base pay, our philosophy includes several incentive programs in 2020 to meet our overall business needs. These incentives included our QRP, gift cards, contests and enhanced overtime during our busiest months. We will continue to offer incentive programs in 2021. We offer benefit programs that embrace the needs of our diverse workforce by supporting your financial security, building wealth for your future and assisting with health care expenses for you and your family.
Open Enrollment will be for an ACTIVE enrollment this year. This means everyone MUST go in and elect their benefits for 2021 (even if you want to waive any benefits). Open enrollment is Tuesday, October 27th – Thursday November 12th. Be sure to make your benefit elections during this window of time. This year we have made some significant changes to our medical plans as well as our short-term disability program. While our new options are reducing the medical contributions, the deductibles have increased. These changes allow us to remain competitive as the costs for healthcare continues to grow between 7 – 9% annually. We recommend you spend time to understand the options and make the right decision to meet you and your family’s needs. The Active Open Enrollment requires you to make your elections to have benefits in 2021. If you do not make an election for your Short-Term Disability, you will be automatically enrolled in this benefit for 2021.
Benefit terms & definitions Following are some common benefit terms and definitions, many of which are used in this guide. Bi-Weekly Contribution – The amount you pay out of each paycheck for your insurance coverage. Deductible – The amount you pay out-of-pocket when you go to the doctor, a facility or hospital, or purchase prescription drugs. You must pay the full deductible first before the plan covers non-preventive services. Out of Pocket Maximum – The most you could pay for covered care services during the plan year. When you reach the out-of-pocket maximum, the plan pays 100% of your remaining eligible expenses. Coinsurance – A percent of the cost you incur after you have met your deductible. Copay – A flat fee you may pay for certain services and prescription drugs on some plans. Pre-tax – Deductions from your paycheck before tax is calculated. This reduces your taxable income (and means you pay less in taxes). Post-tax – Deductions from your paycheck after tax is calculated. This does not affect your taxable income. Employee-paid – You pay the cost. Employer-paid – Agero pays the cost. Vesting – Ownership of the money in your retirement account. If you are 100% vested, you own all of the money in your account and can take it with you when you leave Agero.

Open Enrollment is your opportunity to re-evaluate your and your family’s benefit needs for the 2021 calendar year. Your Agero Benefits are an important part of your overal health and wellness. It’s important for you to understand your 2021 benefits, so you can make the best choices for yourself and your family.
The enrollment is quick and easy with our online benefit platform, bswift.
All full-time and part-time associates working 20+ hours per week are eligible to participate in all Agero Benefit Plans.
Agero’s core benefit plans (medical, dental, and vision) are provided to you on a tax-free basis. Outside of Open Enrollment, you can only make mid-year changes to tax-free plans if you experience a qualified status change, also known as a life event. Otherwise you will need to wait until Open Enrollment the next year.

The two plans offer varying deductible levels, as well as coverage for in-network care only. With an EPO plan, you must see in-network doctors for your care to be covered, except for covered emergency care in a hospital facility. You don’t have to choose a primary care provider or get referrals for specialists, but it’s recommended that you have a doctor who can help guide your care.

A virtual primary care doctor visit is a good choice for minor medical concerns such as flu & cold symptoms, allergies, ear infections and more. Negotiated cost is $54 per visit.
Urgent Care centers offer treatment for non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses. Average cost is $147.

Hospital visits can be expensive! If you elect the voluntary Medical Bridge Plan, your coverage can help reimburse you for expensive costs associated with a hospital stay (like hospitalization, ER services, outpatient surgeries, etc.).
If you pair the voluntary Medical Bridge Plan with one of the Agero core medical plans, the reimbursements can help you “bridge” the cost of out-of-pocket deductibles and coinsurance.

Your Health Care FSA allows you to set aside money to use for eligible health care expenses. This money is set aside on a pre-tax basis, which means you save money on the Federal and state income taxes you would ordinarily pay.
The Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account allows you to set aside money to use for eligible dependent care expenses, so you and your spouse can work or attend school full time. This money is set aside on a pre-tax basis, which means you save money on the Federal and state income taxes you would ordinarily pay.
Eligible Health Care Expenses You can use your Health Care FSA on most medical, dental, and vision care expenses that are not covered by your health plan. For a full list, visit www.healthequity.com. How to use your FSA funds If you enroll in the Health Care FSA for 2021, you can contribute up to $2,750 per year through payroll deductions. When you have a qualifying expense, you can either use your Health Equity debit card, pay online at www.healthequity.com, or you can pay out of pocket and reimburse yourself later. Life insurance is a key part of your financial security, especially if others depend on you for support. In the event, of your death, the amount of your life insurance benefit would be paid to your beneficiar(ies), which provides support and security for your loved ones! Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance provides a benefit in the event of dismemberment or if your death is the result of an accident.
Agero Paid Coverages All benefit eligible associates receive 2 types of life insurance, at NO COST to you. You are automatically enrolled in these benefits: ++Basic Life Insurance: coverage at 1 times your Basic Annual Earnings, up to $300,000 (excluding commissions, bonuses, overtime, shift differentials, etc.) ++Basic AD&D - coverage at 1 times your Basic Annual Earnings up to $300,000 (excluding commissions, bonuses, overtime, shift differentials, etc.)
Additional Life Insurances You can elect to purchase additional life insurance for yourself AND your dependents, on a post-tax basis. If Evidence of Insurability is required, you will be prompted to electronically submit information to Unum during the enrollment process in bswift. Once approved, your payroll deductions and elected coverage will begin. ++Supplemental Life Insurance – you can elect up to 5x your Basic Annual Earnings, up to $750,000. Guaranteed issue at 2x earnings or $250,000 (whichever is less). ++Supplemental Spouse Life Insurance – you can elect supplemental life insurance for your spouse in increments of $5,000, up to $150,000. You cannot elect more than 50% of your combined basic and supplemental amount. Guaranteed issue at $35,000. ++Supplemental Child Life Insurance – you can elect either $5,000 or $10,000 in coverage, no matter how many children you have. ++Supplemental AD&D Insurance – you can elect up to 10x your Basic Annual Earnings, up to $1,000,000 at guaranteed issue. ++Supplemental Family AD&D Insurance – *copy information in current chart* Please note that all life and AD&D coverages will reduce by 60% at age 65, and 50% at age 70.

through Fidelity An important part of your benefit package is planning for the future and your retirement. We make it easy to start saving. Eligible Associates will automatically will automatically be enrolled at a 3% contribution level in the Agero, Inc. 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Prior to automatic enrollment you will receive an information package from Fidelity Investments outlining the Plan and investment fund options. You can opt out of the Plan or change your contributions at any time. You have the option to contribute to the Plan on either a pre-or post-tax (Roth 401(k)) basis. If you choose the Roth 401(k), your qualified distributions will be tax-free based on current tax law. Your contributions are always 100% yours and the company match is 100% yours after 2 years of service. ++Loans – You may borrow from your account. The College Tuition Benefit is an exciting way to help pay for your loved one’s college tuition. This program is at NO COST to you, and can be used for your children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. How does it work? The program looks at your 401(k) balance every year, and calculates tuition rewards points based on your balance at that time. The tuition rewards points can be used on college undergraduate tuition at over 400 participating private colleges and universities.
