Job Title: ASL Fluent ABA Therapist Employment Type: Part Time (currently 18 hours per week) Reports To: Owner, Director of Operations, Office Manager, Supervisor Summary:

Provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in client homes throughout DC and Northern VA. Runs goals created by a certified therapist; teach skills related to language acquisition, behavior, social skills, and daily living skills.

Essential duties and responsibilities​ include the following, as well as other duties as directed by management: ● Attends scheduled sessions and implements one-to-one behavior intervention services with clients and families ● Attends team meetings, relate observations, and shows behavior interventions and programs. ● Receives feedback in a professional manner ● Implement written interventions in order to increase client communication, functional, social and sensory skills. ● Train family members and home service providers on the implementation of behavioral interventions. ● Collect Data as prescribed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst. ● Provide emergency response and crisis intervention as needed.

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the above listed essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Education/Experience: ● High school diploma required ● Bachelor's or Master’s degree preferred ● Must have some experience with children with developmental disabilities (personal or professional) but experience in ABA is preferred, but not required ● 1 year experience working with kids with Autism preferred

Physical Requirements: ● Must be able to sit on the floor and must be able to run after a student Client Service Skills ● Must possess exceptional interpersonal and client service skills ● Excellent communication and problem solving skills ● Ability to make reasonable decisions ● Maintain enthusiasm and positive attitude Other Skills and Requirements: ● Must be proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) ● Must be able to work as a member of a team ● Proficient computer skills – Word, Excel, Windows, Google Drive, OCTO portal, RSM portal, Central Reach, Catalyst (will train as needed) ● Ability to multi-task ● Self-motivated ● Detail oriented ● Must have cell phone with texting ability ● Must have reliable transportation Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described represent those that the employees encounter while performing essential functions ● Work remotely outside of an office without co-workers on a daily basis ● Check and respond to work email on a daily basis ● Respond to texts within 2 hours during the work day ● Travel time of up to 45 minutes expected between clients Compensation and Benefits ● Competitive pay rate ($22 - $25 per hour) ● On the job training and Registered Behavior Technician training ● Paid time off ● AFLAC ● Flexible schedule (evening and weekend availability required) ● Free checking account
