Aps disha The Luminary Chairman’s Message We are living through a difficult time for our society and all concerned with it. The crisis around Covid-19 Pandemic has left no one untouched. The virus is not only claiming human lives – it is also subjecting to extraordinary stress rarely seen in peace times. But these challenges only reinforce our resolve to continue working towards making the world resilient. It gives me immense pleasure to see that Adarsh fraternity stands committed to the task of sharing knowledge and innovate strategies to navigate the current circumstances.
“ If the face of India has to change ever then it cannot be attained without proper and quality education being imparted to everyone without any discrimination.”
I am extremely satisfied to see that the school is monitoring the situation closely and taking the proactive measures to deal with it. The school’s efforts to ensure that the academic delivery of the prescribed syllabus goes unhindered are really commendable. I would like to convey my deep appreciation to the stakeholders including Principal, parents, students and teachers who struggled through these trying times with immense zeal and commitment in quickly adapting to the changing scenario. The class X and XII result have been really encouraging with the percentage showing an upward trend every year. I congratulate the unparallel leadership of the school head and Adarsh fraternity for the same. Not only academics, it gives me immense pleasure to see that the students are participating in virtual Inter School and Intra School Competitions with equal zest and bringing laurels and accolades for the school on one hand and keeping themselves actively and creatively engaged on the other.
In the current scenario as a matter of personal safety and preventive measure effective utilization of time should be done by spending quality time with self and family. I hope and pray that all of you stay safe and healthy. The challenging time will pass but what will count is our tenacity and perseverance with which we deal with it. I pray to Almighty to enable us all to see that beautiful dawn when the school building will be bustling with the joyous sounds of children. May we all see that dawn soon.
P.K. Sahgal Chairman
Our Beacon Light Education begins at birth and continues through life The complete focus of the school is to provide a support center to our children so they continue learning and developing towards becoming whole and healthy individuals. We work with the core belief that wisdom can be cultivated gradually amongst all individuals. It is not enough to make children literate and academically intelligent. What is more important is to make them wise so that they are able to use their intelligence judiciously.
Teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, calibre and future of an individual .If people remember me as a good teacher , that will be the biggest honour for me. -A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
We believe that true wisdom is the ability to listen to your heart and that each child’s self esteem, dignity, physical and emotional well being must be cultivated with the same importance as that given to academic and material success. The educational needs of today vary from those of the past because of growing competition and with the progress of Science and Technology. The students must be equipped with the skills required to face the challenges of future. They can do it easily if we make the surroundings stimulating and purposeful. The school therefore has undertaken a great leap in integrating information and communication technology into the classroom teaching and learning process.
The school is hailed as a deemed institution which has carved a niche for itself, with the dedicated efforts of our deeply committed management, experienced teachers and active parents. We take the onus of making the child’s journey in school rich with many enjoyable learning experiences by providing them an exquisite platform to hone their creative and inter-personal skills. The alumni of school, well settled across the globe, are a clear example of their cherishable and vivid learning experiences at school. We want to mould a generation who can serve and succeed not only in their respective careers but also in serving humanity and to develop empathy and sensitivity towards the world at large. For inculcating the true spirit of humaneness, we wish to create an atmosphere where the students may grow with tolerance and respect for all religions, reverence for elders, sensibility to their cultural heritage and courage to face the challenges of life. Let us commit ourselves to pave the path for a promising generation. Pooja Malhotra Principal
