Secretary’s Message BanarsidasChandiwala Institute of Professional Studies (BCIPS), is established with the objective of imparting value-based quality education commensurate with market demand through training &holistic personalitydevelopment of its students.BCIPS is a part of Shri Banarsidas Chandiwala Sewa Smarak Trust Society which is active in offering technical education though it’s other institutes in the areas of Business Management,IT,HotelManagement programmes in affiliation with GGSIP University, New Delhi. We at BCIPS, believe that learning is a continuous and dynamic process that is not confined to the classroom but goes beyond that to include earnest efforts in developing students into fully skilled and perfect professionals. This can be made possible by rich exposure to modern trends and practices in the corporate world, after receiving relevant academic inputs from a highly qualified faculty. Keeping this in mind periodic industrial visits, educational tours and excursion workshops, seminars, guest lectures and other co-curricular activities for the benefit of the student are part of the agenda. Participation of students in co-curricular activities exposes them to critical management concepts of leadership, teamwork, collaboration, openness, mutual trust and practices associated with them. This brochure collects all the relevant information regarding our Corporate Resource Centre for your participation in the placement program. We look forward to forger strong bonds of co-operation to traverse unchartered territories of excellence.

About The Institute BCIPS has been established in 2008 to run professional programs. The institute is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. It is a part of Shri Banarsidas Chandiwala Sewa Smarak Trust Society and established in 1952 by the visionary Late Shri BrikrishanChandiwala, a veteran Gandhian and philanthropist, in the memoryof his illustrious father Late Shri Banarsidas Chandiwala.Shri Banarsidas Chandiwala Sewa Smarak Trust Society is a registered society under the societies Registration Act and is located at Chandiwala Estate, Kalkaji, New Delhi and our management institute is located at Dwarka, New Delhi.

Mission To be student centric through innovation and pedagogy, research, faculty development, collaboration with industry, institutions and high quality infrastructure. To help the students develop ethical decision making capabilities and expand their skills and knowledge eternally beyond the visible capabilities.

Corporate Resource Centre – The Placement Cell BCIPS received great industry encouragement since inception through dedicated Corporate Resource Centre (CRC),which comprise of faculty and students as placement coordinators.The placement cell of BCIPS is active, conscious and vibrant. Itfunctions enthusiastically round the year to empower students through motivation, grooming, and shaping their personalities.The Placement cell is well equipped with infrastructure for pre-placement talks, written tests, computer aided tests, group discussions and personal interviews etc. and is designed to smoothly handle and support the placement process at all stages. It engages leaders, entrepreneurs, executives and policy makers to address students to facilitate practical learning ad also organizes industrial visitsfor the students.

Infrastructure & Resources Infrastructure of BCIPS strives to create a supportive and enriching physical environment that will encourage outstanding teaching, research and a strong sense of community. It is complemented with a centrally air conditioned and spacious building well equipped with conference hall, computer labs, library etc. Institute has well equipped Information Resource Centre with 172 workstations, 24x7 internet connectivity, Knowledge Resource Centre (Library), Conference Room and Seminar Hall.

Student Activities BCIPS believes in 360 degree development of students. Student clubs and cell constitute the core of BCIPS that reflects the caliber of students outside academic sphere. The institute has the various student managed clubs and groups where they organize and participate in various events like Environment day, Wall Journal, Business Plan, Social activity, Sports, and Cultural. The students also serve as the catalyst in organizing various conferences, seminars, workshops and personality development programs.

Publications The students are given ample opportunities to contribute in the News Letters and e-journals published by the institute. The students are encouraged to present papers in the National and International Conferences organized by the Institute and other institutions. The below mentioned books, journals and brochures are published every year:  Journal of Management Research and Insight - A bi-annual management research journal.  Expressions-An Annual Students e- Magazine of BCIPS.

Industrial Visits & Educational Tour “View the World and gain the knowledge” with this objective BCIPS organizes industrial visit and educational tour every year for the students where they get hands on practical demonstration ofresearch & developments activities of the industry. Some of the industries being visited are listed belowAIMIL, Moon Beverages, Yakult Danone, Amul, Mother Dairy,Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd, NSIC, Parle G,Sandhar Auto Components and many more.
