The Book of Memory
In Remembrance of Loved Ones and Friends Who Are Never Forgotten
Arrange to make a lasting memorial in Siouxland's Book of Memory The goal of the Siouxland Community Foundation's Book of Memory Program is to provide a vehicle to honor deceased loved ones and friends, while supporting a variety of educational and charitable purposes through grants to area nonprofit organizations.
Having a name inscribed in the Book of Memory serves as a dignified and enduring memorial tribute. The Book of Memory with inscribed names may be viewed in The Wilbur Aalfs Library, Sioux City, Iowa or online at SiouxlandCommunityFoundation.org. Book of Memory contributions become part of a permanent endowment known as the Fund for Siouxland. Income from this endowment provides grants to help meet the needs in the areas of arts and culture, community betterment, education, health, and human services.
A gift to this fund is a gift that keeps on giving year after year ... truly a lasting memorial.
How to give to the Book of Memory Those wishing to honor a friend or loved one may do so by making a minimum gift of $50 per memorial. Memorial gifts are acknowledged to the donor and to the family of the person being remembered, notifying them of the gift (not the amount) and of their inscription in the Book of Memory. Please send 1.) name of the person being remembered, 2.) contact information for the family of the person being remembered, and 3.) your gift, payable to the "Siouxland Community Foundation" and mail to Book of Memory Program 505 Fifth Street, Ste 412, Sioux City, IA 51101 or make your donation online by scanning this QR code: All contributions to the Siouxland Community Foundation are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Additionally, gifts to endowed funds such as the Fund for Siouxland are eligible for a 25% Endow Iowa Tax Credit. Donors may establish a named memorial or scholarship fund.
