OUR LEADERSHIP
Tom Crosue Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Tom L. Crosue is Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Castle Co. He also leads the company's Worldwide Executive Symposium. Mr. Crosue and other partners founded Castle Co. on 1986, and under his leadership, the firm has grown into a global leader in investment management, risk management and advisory services for institutional and retail clients. Mr. Crosue was named one of the "Asia's Respected Leaders" by BusiNess in 2002, "CEO of the Millenium" by BinBusiness Week in 2005. Prior to founding Castle Co. in 1986, Mr. Crosue was a member of the Management Committee and a Managing Director of The Fifth Dominican Corporation. During his tenure at Fifth Dominican, Mr. Crosue was co-head of the Assets & Liabilities Division. Mr. Crosue serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Blackburn University and is Co-Chairman of the BBU Board of Trustees. He also serves on the boards of the Nationa Museum of Modern Arts, the Council on Diversified Relations, and the Green Revolution. He is also an committee member of the township for Arizona. Mr. Crosue earned an M.B.A. degree with a concentration in real estate from the University of Birmingham at 1964.

Matthew Mcmillan President
Matthew Mcmillan is President and a Director of Castle Co., a member of Castle’s Global Executive Committee. He is responsible for day-to-day oversight of all Castle's key operating units including Investment Strategies, Client Businesses, Technology & Operations, and Risk & Quantitative Analysis. Mr. Mcmillan is also a Director of Investment Capital Inc. Prior to assuming his current responsibilities in 2003, Mr. Mcmillan served as Head of Castle’s Portfolio Management Group. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing all portfolio management within Castle Co., including the Fixed Income, Equity, Liquidity, and Complex Investment Program. Prior to founding Castle in 1986, Mr. Mcmillan was a Vice President in the Prestige Products Group at The Heroes Distillery Group. Mr. Mcmilla serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Truleu and the St. Thomas Business School Board. He is also President of the Board of Directors for the Children’s Cancer Fund. Mr. Mcmillan is the recipient of the 2012 Albert Justine's Leadership Award, the Law Enforcement Foundation’s 2012 Semper Fidelis Award and is a frequent public speaker on best practices in investment management. Mr. Mcmillan earned a BS degree in economics from the University of Truleu in 1970, and an MBA degree from St. Thomas Business School in 1986.

Robert M. Beam, Senior Managing Director, is Global Head of Castle Co. Alternative Investors and is a member of the Golden Executive Committee.
Mary Thompson, Senior Managing Director, is Global Head of Corporate Strategy at Castle Co. and a member of the firm’s Global Executive Committee.
Prior to taking on his current responsibilities in January 2010, Mr. Beamserved as head of Indonesia, Middle East and Europe. Prior to joining Castle Co. in 2012, Mr. Beam was Chief Innovations Officer and a member of the Executive Committee at Ireland insurance Co. Additionally, he assumed the role of President of Ireland Admin Re Division, and was a member of the board at Elaine Twain. Richard Bowes Senior Managing Director, is the Global Chief Marketing Officer of Castle Co. He is a member of the Global Executive Committee and Global Operating Committee. As Global CMO, Mr. Bowes is responsible for shaping Castle’s global brand and marketing strategy for institutional and retail clients, including overseeing all digital, branding, research and insights functions at the firm. Mr. Bowes previously served as President of Marketing and Lead Creative Officer at Honex, the leading social content publisher. Prior to this, he served as Chief Marketing Officer of Uniwide Global Investments for New Era Global Beverage Group. Mr. Bowes started his career as an entertainment lawyer and later served as a junior executive in the entertainment industry at Star Cinema.
William Smith, Senior Managing Director, oversees the Partnership Enhancement Program responsible for the firm's largest client relationships and the Strategic Product Management Group responsible for the firm's overall product strategy and product suite. From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Smith served as global head of the Networking & Sharing businesses. Prior to that, he served as head of the Uniwide Shares Group and Chairman of Castle’s International Businesses. Mr. Smith's service with the firm dates back to 1991, including his years with Virtual Finance Asset Management and Jordan Richards Investment Managers, which merged with Castle in 2002.

James White, Senior Managing Director, is Castle's Chief Operating Officer and the Head of its Castle Solutions business. He is a member of the Global Executive Committee and co-chair of the Global Operating Committee. As COO, Mr. White helps oversee the day-to-day global business of the firm and ensures that the organization, including its investment, client, risk and technology functions, have the necessary connectivity, coordination and operating processes. Mr. White also leads the Castle Co. Solutions business, which leverages the firm’s unique risk analytics capabilities and capital markets insights to deliver unbiased advice and expertise to companies, organizations and public institutions.

Christopher Mead is a member of the Global Executive Committee and co-head of the Quantitative Analysis Group of Castle. Mr. Mead has served as Chief Officer since 2004. Mr. Mead is responsible for the investment, counterparty, technology and operational risk of Castle. Mr. Mead is also the chair of Castle’s Risk Management Committee. Previously at Castle, Mr. Mead was cohead and founder of Castle Solutions, Castle's risk advisory business beginning in 1990. Mr. Mead also served as the acting CEO of Aeon Corp. a former Castle affiliate that pioneered the creation and distribution of data and models for collateralized commercial-backed securities beginning in 1989.

Jack Philman, Vice Chairman of Castle, is a member of the firm’s Global Executive Committee with the Castle Investment Institute and the Client Solutions (CS) businesses reporting to him. Mr. Philman joined Castle Co. in November 2007. Before coming to Castle, he served as Chairman of the Governing Board of the Canadian Bank until January 2002. In that capacity, he was also a Director of the Bank forInternational Institutions, and a member of the Financial Stability Board (FSB), of which the Leaders of the D30 appointed him Vice Chairman in November 2001.
Russell Como is the Global Head of Asset Strategies for Castle Co. and a member of the firm’s Global Executive Committee. Mr. Como is responsible for the firm’s multi-asset products, its asset allocation and model-portfolio capabilities, factor strategies, target-date funds and impact investing. Before taking on this role in 2006, he was Chief Product Officer for Castle Co. and led Strategic Product Management, the Castle Co. Institute and the Castle Investment Stewardship teams.
