This Observation Form lists the practical skills that the candidate must demonstrate/perform while completing Workplace Assessment 1.2

This form is to be completed by the candidate’s assessor to document their observations on the candidate’s performance in Workplace Assessment 1.2.
Task Overview
For this task, the candidate is required to meet with all relevant personnel and effectively communicate the policies and procedures they have developed from Task 1.1. while being observed by the assessor. They must take the following steps: 1.
Communicate the policies and procedures they have developed from Task 1.1 to all the relevant personnel. Relevant personnel may include but are not limited to staff whose responsibilities and roles were identified in the Policies and Procedures for Payroll document.
They must follow the organisation’s policies and procedures when communicating the content of the Policies and Procedures for Payroll document to all relevant personnel.
2.
Secure documentation of how they were able to communicate the policies and procedures you have developed from Task 1.1.
In this task, the candidate will be assessed on their:
Practical knowledge of communication techniques and the organisation’s communication procedures
Practical skills in communicating policies and procedures to relevant personnel

Instructions to the Assessor Before the assessment
Provide the candidate with a copy of policies and procedures relevant to this task and discuss these policies and procedures with them.
Organise workplace resources required for the candidate to complete this assessment.
Contextualise the criteria in this form to ensure they reflect the actual project the candidate is undertaking as part of the assessment.
Discuss this assessment task with the candidate, including the practical skills they need to demonstrate during this task and the criteria for satisfactorily demonstrating each skill.
Review this form with the candidate and address any queries or concerns they may have about it.
