Equipment
There are lots of different types of equipment you can find for photography, but learn the skill first before investing in high end gear
MADM
Exposure Exposure is the amount of light that reaches your sensor when taking a picture
MADM
3 Pillars of Photography -
ISO Aperture Shutter Speed
These are all important fundamentals that should be learnt to master the art of photography
MADM
ISO
ISO is essentially digital light on your sensor and has nothing to do with exposure
MADM
Digital Noise Be careful not to raise your ISO too high otherwise you could risk capturing digital noise which is really hard to edit out
MADM
Aperture
Aperture differs on each lens, you can usually see what your minimum and maximum aperture is by the number on your lens starting with either F: or 1: For example 1:2.8 is a minimum aperture of F2.8
MADM
Depth of Field
The depth of field is important for getting that professional look in your portrait photography, but it’s not as important when shooting photos of buildings and landscapes
MADM
Bokeh Bokeh is a really important aspect of photography, especially when taking product photography for marketing purposes
MADM
Shutter Speed Shutter speed is the reason your photos look blurry in low light, when using a low shutter speed you need to steady your camera to get a grisp image
MADM
Long Exposure
Lowering your shutter speed to its minimum can create this effect, but make sure you use a tripod
