For the month of May we at Clipfine put a real emphasis on making sure everything is in place ahead of June 21 st & the expected return to the office for many. Every day spent working with the tenants we are getting a more in depth feel of their expectations & we are making sure to tailor to their individual needs & requirements as a company. Within Clipfine we are working hard to make sure the Logistics team have all the tools required to carry out their roles to the best of their ability, we are working towards this through a combination of one to one training carried out by supervisors & managers as well as putting on 1 hour mini courses with a training company in area’s that we feel can be either improved on or to help push them to the next level where we see potential. Our Clipfine H&S rep visited site in May to check over everything from procedures to RAMS to the welfare being provided, he was very impressed with the quality of welfare being provided as well as the overall feel for how the job is going from the team. Some suggestions have been made of where small improvements can be made & this has been reported into JLL. We are also up & running with our ‘Cortex’ system which will house all details for our operatives securely on our online system, it will pinpoint what is required for each individual role & flag if any certificates are missing or out of date. This will massively help in making sure we have the right person for the job from the start & then provide a clear pathway for future development.

Statistics What do we aim to achieve? A true record of all inbound and outbound movements.

115 Deliveries to Deliveries to the 22BG Cages delivered CC to 22BG

39 TFO deliveries into 22BG

2 wheel / on foot deliveries to 22BG

Collections from 22BG

38 Collections from CC

Another month of no failed deliveries or collections & a steady increase in deliveries to both 22B & the CC. The FM shuttle service is running collections back to the CC on a twice daily basis & we have had just 1 less collection from the CC compared to 22B, In fact one of these collections from the CC was for 61 boxes & all were handled with no issues & collected on time. Cage numbers being delivered to 22B are steadily increasing but when digging deeper into the numbers on the DMS you can see the amount of packages being handled & delivered within the cages has majorly increased.

Focus for Next Month What do we aim to achieve?

Ahead of June 21st we are fully commited on making sure we have everything in place to deal with the uptake in demand of use for deliveries to the CC. Section 106 will limit numbers of deliveries straight to 22B so we will make sure operations at the CC are where they need to be. Delivery numbers direct to 22B have been steadily rising which will have to change come 21 st June. We will work with both teanats & TFO’s to re-train the mind in how deliveries should be made. Additional training & upskilling will be offered to the Clipfine team over the next month which will include conflict management for members of our team that have interface with tenants as well as front of house style training for our lift drivers. Our post room runner Alex Englezu has recently been enrolled on a NVQ in supervision as we feel he has real potential to further himself within our team at 22B. Key to everything we do at 22B is relationships between the teams & I can honestly say in the last month every department are combining to create the 22 team ethos, it really is a great feeling to come to work knowing everyone is pulling together in the same direction & the thanks received from helping others is genuine & heartfelt. We will do everything in our power to keep this going over the next month & contribute where possible. To keep the teams at both the CC & 22B connected we had the parcel distributers at the CC carry out a start to finish trail on cage deliveries, in turns they went with Tony the shuttle driver & saw the process from the very start of the parcel’s life up to the point of delivery to tenant, they found this really helpful in understanding the full process & now have the knowledge of what happens to the cage from once it leaves them at the CC. This was also good for team building as it got both sides of the team talking & between them they were coming up with ideas of how they can help each other going forward, it was brilliant to see the team thinking for themselves & not being afraid to give their opinion, it’s just another sign of how all at Clipfine have bought into 22 Life & feel comfortable in their surroundings. Over the next month we will try this process in reverse & send an operative from 22B to the CC so they can see how parcels are processed from their end.

How are we doing? Massive progress made over the past month & the compliments being received about the logistics department by tenants is making us proud but also keeping us on our toes to make sure we do not let the tenants down in the future, you are only as good as your last review!!
