Breed Contacts:
The Border Collie The Border Collie is described as a “tenacious, hard working sheepdog of great tractability”. He is strong, hard working, highly intelligent & has a will to please which is second to none. His unique intelligence makes him the ideal dog to compete in many disciplines & he excels in obedience, agility, working trials, flyball, heelwork to music etc. ‐ as well as being a successful show dog and family pet. Prospec ve owners of the Breed should take into considera on the amount of me they are prepared to give to their Border Collie, as one of the most important factors is to keep the intelligent brain occupied. The Border Collie does like exercise; both physical & mental s mula on being necessary to keep him happy & healthy. The Border Collie comes in a variety of colours, and also moderately long, and smooth coated varie es – the longer coat being the far more common and popular.
