Ayurvedic Treatment plan for Covid 19 Introduction The Covid 19 is a pandemic condition which is destroying the whole world. The corona virus is the cause of this and no treatment or vaccines are invented yet. According to Ayurveda, it can be diagnosed as Janapadodwamsa Vyadhi.

Here we have to follow: Daiva Vyapashraya Yukti Vyapashraya Satvavajaya line of treatment. In Daiva vyapashraya, chanting of Vishnu sahasranama, performing Havana using medicated kashtas with cow dung and desi ghee should be done In Yukti Vyapashraya, different medicines can be given in all stages of the symptoms.

Initial stage (a symptomatic or mild cough with throat irritation) Samshamani Vati, Shadanga Paniya, Amrutarista, herbs like Kiratatikta, Ashwagandha and shunti can be given.

Moderate or second stage- (In this the patient will have high temperature with dry cough and mild breathlessness-mild gastro intestinal symptoms) Sudarshana Ghana vati, Kanakasava, Mahalakshmi Vilasa rasa Ananda Bhairava Rasa DashamulaKatutrayadi Kwatha are advisable.

Acute stage (acute respiratory distress) In emergencies like this, Muhur muhur dosage of Sameera pannaga rasa, Abhraka Bhasma (sahasra puti) , Kasturi Bhairava Rasa or Jayamangala Rasa etc can be given. 1

Satvavajaya Performing Pranayama, Meditation, yogasanas, listening to good music, listening and watching positive news.

Prevention To avoid the spreading of the infection whole area should be fumigated with rakshogna gana dravyas like Guggulu, Nimba, Haridra or Aparajitha Dhuma yoga. The people living in that area should take rasayanas like Agasta Haritaki, Shunti churna pradhaman nasya Haridra Kashaya, Guduchi satva to consumed.

Pathya Drinking boiled and warm water which is having shunti, haridra etc Consuming freshly cooked rice (not pressure cooked), boiled vegetables and greens to be consumed. Spices like cumin, pepper, asafoetida, and garlic are to be used abundantly. Soft rotis and khichidis to be used.
