In general, the commercially available coaxial cables are produced with chemically foamed dielectric, which has a main disadvantage of being susceptible to moisture, this problem is eliminated with BMET cables. During Production, a mixture of inert gas (N2) is given into the extrusion machine using advanced production techniques. This process gives a physically foamed dielectric that meets even the tightest international specifications and eliminate the moisture ingress. Main advantage of the physically foamed dielectric; • Watertight due to the extremely homogeneous structure • Higher mechanical strength • High stability in attenuation for a wide spectrum upto 3 GHz • Light weight and smaller diameter • Flexible & easier installation In following pages some standard type cables are given. BMET has the capability and experience to produce any other type of coaxial cables.
