The Primate of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) the Most Rev.N.D.Okoh has counseled Church communicators to make their language simple to comprehend, bearing in mind that the essence of communication is to pass a message across. He gave the counsel while delivering a keynote address at the Diocesan Communicators Conference, Friday at St.Matthias Anglican Church, Wuse Zone 3, Abuja. He frowned at the habit of communicators who, according him, entertain themselves with bombastic language that none understands and as such emphasised the importance of continuous training for communicators, stressing that people do well in that which they are trained to do. According to him, the situation in the country is such that communicators are entrusted with the responsibility of knowing what to say and how to write to improve the polity. Also, he advised communicators to preserve materials that could be of benefit to posterity, maintaining that communication demands skills that can only be acquired by training.
