General Managers Report: Richard Dingus read his General Manager’s Report (Attachment D). Questions / Answers: Steven Wolfe asked about the green on Hole #11 and whether there needs to be a temporary green while the turf recovers, especially with upcoming tournaments. Mr. Dingus felt with the higher cut of grass, this should not be a problem. Dane Woytek asked about the status of the bathroom on Hole #14. Mr. Dingus reported that a contractor has been out and installed a clean-out on the drain pipe which should take us through this year. However, the pipe was originally installed level from its origin to the street. Long term this will require re-piping to add slope, or, installation of a mini-lift station by the bathroom. Costs for these options will be studied, the topic added to the next Board Planning Meeting Agenda, and referred to the Finance Committee for consideration in next year’s Reserve Study. A Motion was made by Dane L. Woytek and seconded by Steven P. Wolfe to approve a golf course tree replacement plan to replace approximately 300 trees lost over the last four years. This would come at a yearly expenditure not to exceed $6,900 per year. Funds to come through Operations. Discussion: The tree replacement plan includes planting Slash pine trees in the majority of the pine straw beds along with Live Oaks in more wide open areas since they have better disease resistance than Laurel Oaks. Tabebuia trees can be placed in several areas where they will be more noticeable in spring when they are in bloom. Magnolias can be planted along Hole #15 as well as Crepe Myrtles and Orchid trees. The plan is to add five trees per month for a total of 60 trees added to the property during 2021. Vote:

Timber Green continues its reduce levels due to social distancing as we react to the threat of spreading the corona virus. We have reduced our budget expectations yet we are still falling short of these budget expectation. February's gain $ 1.5K was less than Budget by $ 8K and February YTD gain $ 13K is less than Budget by $ 24k. Golf Center revenues were below Budget by $8 for the month due to lower non-resident revenue and lower merchandise sales. Net F & B revenue ($ 18K) was offset by lower F & B payroll expense resulting in a $ 6.6K unfavorable variance. YTD lower net F&B revenue ($ 42K) was offset by lower F&B payroll expense ($ 18K) resulting in a unfavorable $20K variance from Budget. YTD other departments were slightly over or under budget. The liquidity ratio returned to our normal level at 3.47.

Attachment D General Manager’s Report – March 2021 February was quite a good month. Activity in and around the club was almost like normal. Golf revenues were close to budget, even with the reduction of outside golf fees. Food and Beverage did not fare well which was totally attributed to COVID. Overall, the budget was under plan by just under $10,000 – but we are starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. We now have eased some restrictions on the Pool and Fitness Room. You are allowed to have guests at the Pool as long as you accompany them. The Fitness Room can now allow 6 residents instead of 3. As far as dine-in, we now allow 6 people to a table in both the 19th Hole and the Main Room. We are encouraging golfers to ride two to a cart since most have been vaccinated. Remember, it is your decision on who you would like to sit with, or ride with. Takeout and delivery are always available also. The greens on the Golf Course have gone through some issues lately with a disease called Pythium Root Rot. David Husar has taken care of the disease, and now we slowly wait for the recovery which will happen. One of the pool heaters was replaced and is doing well in these cool times. All the cart path work, including curbing on Hole #3 is completed for the year. Next year we will tackle all the cement path areas. The work was all completed on time and under budget. We have repaired some sidewalks lately and that process will continue. We installed some new lighting around the Clubhouse for safety at night. The Front Entrance signs also now have improved lighting and looks very classy. We have started a bench replacement program throughout the community with a heavier bench made out of materials that will not rust. All benches will be replaced over the next couple of months. Finally, we continue to fight COVID-19 and it looks as though we may make it. By April 1st, Florida should be allowing vaccinations for anyone 55 or older. We are still not sure if we can finish up with the residents who have yet to be vaccinated in Timber Greens, and we encourage you to try on your own to set an appointment. As we finish off inside the gates, we see a large amount of vaccinations on a daily basis outside the gates. We hope to allow outside golf back by May 1st. Every day seems a little better than the one before, so stay safe and see you at the Club. Thank you all for your support.
Rick Dingus – General Manager, Timber Greens Community Association.

Communications & Marketing Committee Minutes March 9, 2021 Call To Order: The meeting was called to order at 10:30 AM by the Chair, Cyndy Webb. Members in attendance were Adrian Simmons, Dale Snyder, Marge Sobkow, Donna Woytek, General Manager, Richard Dingus and Board Liaison, Gary Weyer. A quorum was established. Approval of the Minutes: A motion was made, seconded, and unanimously passed to waive the reading of the February 9, 2021 minutes and approve the minutes as they stand. Transfer of Chairmanship: Cyndy Webb announced stepping down from the Chair position, with intent to remain as a Member. Donna Woytek agreed to assume the role and was endorsed by unanimous vote of the membership. Board Liaison, Gary Weyer, will bring the nomination to the Board for approval. Old Business: Email Welcome Letters. The hard-copy welcome from the General Manager has been completed and will be reproduced for insertion in the Orientation/Registration packet given to new residents by Sandy. The welcome emails from the General Manager, Food & Beverage and Golf still need follow-up. Mr. Dingus and Donna will assist in bringing final copy to the April meeting. New Business: a. Participation In The 2021 TG Election. Only 42% of the voting membership participated in the election of the 2021 Board of Directors. Cyndy will pull together a communique addressing concern over the low interest shown, as well as researching available sources and costs in support of electronic voting. Also, questions about voting will be included in the upcoming TG survey being planned for late fall. b. Request For Hard-Copy Community Directory. The Committee reviewed a prototype pulled from our current data base. Since it is now set up by individual entries, the directory could no longer reflect a singular "Mr. & Mrs." entry for a given address. Each individual resident would have their own entry. The committee felt the publication of a hard-copy directory was possible and should be considered. c. TG Public Announcement Channel. Mr. Dingus will contact Spectrum and inquire about reintroducing a Timber Greens public announcement channel. Findings will be provided at the April meeting. d. Establishment Of A Communications Coordinator Position. Committee expressed concern over how the expanding need for website management, monitoring data bases for broadcast calling and email blasts, PR/marketing assistance to F&B and golf releases, coordination of Green Scene, Weekly Flyers and other communication networking that is now largely being accomplished through the main office or volunteer efforts. The Committee strongly urged the Liaison and the General Manager to consider establishing a new position, bringing with it the skillset needed to address this void. Adjournment: A motion was made, seconded and unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 11:43 AM. The next meeting will be held on April 13, 2021 at 10:30 AM.

Timber Greens Golf Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes For February 19, 2021
Tour of the course was conducted at 8am Meeting was called to order at 8:45am Present; Jeff Mathieu, Rick Dingus, Howard Kahn, David Cassidy, Bill Wallace, Kathi Keller, Kevin McLaughlin, Kevin Addington Quorum was recognized
1. Course tour comments; #1. To the right of the green is worn, also sod should be put around new cart path areas around the course #2. Areas to the right of the green are worn, also under the tree area before the green #3. Mr. Dingus reported that curbs would be installed at the first turn of the new cart path to prevent golf carts from driving into the water. The new cart path raised the over all height and this will be a precautionary method. Move the rope on the left near the water over to prevent people from cutting the corner and entering the fairway early. #4. Blue tee box area is thin, maybe some tree trimming in this area will help all the tee boxes, sand trap looks great #6. Near the green, worn from people hitting their ball in this area, also before the 150 marker, to the right could use some pine straw #7. Left of the bunker is worn/dirt #8. Left of the green area is thin/dirt #9. To the right of the bunker is all sand and behind the green is bare/thin #10. Now that the white tee box tree has been trimmed, the tree just after the blue/red/gold tee box needs trimming. You can see that everyone tees up on the left side of the tee box, which is causing wear. The scatter foot traffic sign is actually causing wear with having the green post creates pathways. Either remove the posts or change the post every now and then #11. Either put golf cards in the “mailbox” or remove. Mr. Dingus will check with the pro shop, same issue on hole 2. What is the long-range plan with the “dump area “ off to the left? This will become GUR and add a drop area until the project is completed next year. The new cart paths are very dirty from the side material, can the sweeper clean them off. If fence work is going to continue around the course, can this area be added on hole 11? #12 ok #13. Back of the green tee box area, thin/sand, maybe add some plants like you did on the green tee box on 14. #14. The 3 trees are bare underneath them, DH stated that the middle one probably needs too be removed. Looks like the mower on greens 14, 15, 16, & 17 is uneven or is this cause by what’s going on with the greens at the present time? Drain/road plates are loose #17. The old cart path area needs too be blocked off; people are cutting the corner to get out in the fairway early. #18. Can we still work on extending the fairway/lay up area from the last oak tree to the drop zone? Wednesday, March 17, 2020 Timber Greens Community Association, Inc. 12 of 20
MP suggested that the plastic insert pin holders be removed because they were damaging the hole when people took out the flagstick. I was able to show David this and the inserts have been removed. 2.
Summary of Superintendent Husar’s report Florida Paving is finished for this year, curbing is to be added to the left of 3 tee for safety issues Some of the greens are currently experiencing Pythium Root rot Greens are currently rolling 8 Some mole cricket activity in the past couple of weeks apps applied Spray out all Poa in March We will look at plugging some areas on 11 green once we can see what will grow back Greening up from warmer weather, will start recovering in high traffic areas, having 2 in a cart will help Upcoming projects, drop zone on 14, re-grading some tee boxes adding drainage to 3,5,9 wet area, adding landscape shrubs to some areas A bulk fertilizer will take place the first week in March Tree Replacement Plan- over 200 trees have been removed in the past few years, so we are going to start a plan to replace them. Keeping with the style of the golf course, mostly oaks pine, but do a better job of spacing so we don’t have issues of crowding and disease down the road. The majority of trees being cut down are pines and if we want to keep he pine straw beds with needles then we need to replace with pines. This is the main tree we replace along fairways. However they will not be packed as tight as they were originally, but spacing 10-12 feet. Camphor trees, like the ones we have behind 11 and 14 green will get very large so we also need to avoid greens and tees. These cause extended shade, which cause disease problems in the greens. Small trees, like crape myrtles, orchid trees, or hollies are perfect for around tee boxes. They won’t cause turf issues by shading the tee box all day and they will add some color to the area. Around the greens we would look into some queen palms. They give the shots a backdrop and won’t cause shade or air flow issues. Adding 5 trees a month for the rest of the year or 50 trees. The GAC has made the following recommendation; The GAC agrees with the Superintendents plan for tree replacement to improve the health of the course without changing the integrity of the shot making of the course and will review each month during its course tour the location of the new trees by stakes placed by the Superintendent prior to the tour. All members agreed to this. 3. Jeff Mathieu brought up if any changes are made at the Board meetings, considering golf, that an email get sent to him and or the entire GAC so that we are informed before residents start to ask questions about the changes. Board Liaison agreed this to. 4. Kevin Addington brought up the possibility of having “Winter Rules” each winter based on a response he has received from other golfers. Although the USGA has no ruling on this matter, this would be a local rule to consider. This will be added to the next agenda to write what we feel should be the guidelines and summit as a recommendation to the Pro Shop for consideration in the winters to come. It would be helpful for Devin Dahlgren to join us and guide us with correct terminology and best practices for our submission. 5. A motion to adjourn was made by Bill and seconded by Kevin McLaughlin at 10:02
Respectfully submitted, Jeff Mathieu

Thanks to Gary Hunt, TG Vets for setting this up. TGVIP update, the TG Hospitality Committee advised us that they are handing out the packets to all new residents. Charles Webb and Pat Cassidy met with Mr. Dingus to discuss the use of the provided First Aid kit Backpack. Mr. Dingus advised them that the Security Patrol is not trained in First Aid and will not provide such service. However, they have been trained to use the emergency AED equipment. The CERT committee now has the backpack. A discussion about TG Emergency procedures was again brought up. When an emergency situation occurs on TG property do we first call the community patrol and then call “911” or vice versus. The reason being is that “911” will keep you on the phone until the situation is resolved. TG Bd Member, Steve Wolfe said he will discuss this important issue with the TB Board at the next meeting. He will also ask that a first aid kit be made available in the TG Clubhouse, as well as ask for signage indicating where to find it.
