Primary purpose of position To plan, manage, improve and control the financial accounting environment of NamPost especially for the departments of Postal Operations, Courier, Human Resources/Payroll, Treasury and Projects through setting up a policy framework, planning and implementing structures, systems & processes, and improvement thereon as well as the following main areas of responsibility: • • •
To enforce standardisation and corporate governance principles within the departments of responsibility; To guide and coach colleagues and assists general managers in best financial practices so that legal accountability is ensured; and To produce, analyse and report/advise on monthly results of the departments.

A Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent supplemented by coursework in Distributed Control System (DCS) and PLC networks. Five (5) years work experience with modern DCS systems, Yokogawa Centum VP preferred. Working knowledge and programming of Profibus Distributed Peripherals/Process Automation (DP/PA) systems. Working knowledge and programming of Yokogawa ProSafe Safety System preferred Working knowledge of Industrial Ethernet Networks (Fiber Optic Link Modules). Knowledge of Programmable Controllers (PLC) preferably, Siemens. Ability to schedule work, prioritize activities and complete multiple tasks. Good professional administrative skills. Ability to work accurately under pressure, excellent organizational and communication skills written and oral. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Package). Code B driver’s license.

Investigate and repair the source of all mechanical breakdowns of the Mining & Mobile equipment, Gensets, as well as Light Vehicles and initiate preventative measures. Ensure adherence to safety standards & procedures by adhering to safe working conditions & regular safety inspections Maintain and review stock levels of all spares, stock items in conjunction with Procurement Department. Assist maintenance planner with planning of daily, weekly, monthly jobs and preparations for major maintenance.
