Title Significance It is a story about a king who was crazy about killing of tigers due to a prophesy when he was still an infant that he would die of the 100th tiger he kills. He tries to disprove the prophesy and tell the world that he was more powerful than any tiger in the world. Tiger hunting was the one and only motive of his life than anything else and so the title, The Tiger King.
