Professional Experience Project : Off-Highway On-Highway --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Organization : KPIT Technologies Ltd. Client : Cummins Designation : Senior Test Engineer Duration :1st Aug 2018 to Till Date (~2.5 years) Description (HIL Testing – System Level Testing). Automated and Manual Testing and test case development of different Engine & Emission control related features to test Engine Control Module. Tools used Scripting Tool - NI TestStand, LabView Debugging tools-Calterm, PCAN-view, PCAN-Explorer, MATLAB – Simulink Database handing tools – Vob, Integrity Documentation tools-Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio Repository - SVN Test Bench Gartech, LUIS, ACCEPT Role and Responsibilities ➢ Implemented Automated script development and modification for testing different Engine features as per SRS (Software Requirement Specification) using NI TestStand and LabVIEW for validation of automotive ECM Software and verification of SRS documents. ➢ Accelerating the process of Manual and Automated System level testing by referring SRS and debugging software using model files from MATLAB using Black Box Testing methodology. ➢ Experience in typical automotive software tools like Canoe and Canalyzer/PCAN. Handling Hardware testing Tools like DMM,Function Generator and Digital Signal Oscilloscope to measure voltages and observe various waveforms. ➢ Spearheaded as an offshore test coordinator with ownership of multiple test features. ➢ Estimating completion date as per due date assigned for build to test, estimating requirement of number of testers needed and assigning them task accordingly. ➢ Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits used in automotive industry.
