Wi-Fi Network: Garage Password: innovation** ****replace with new wifi networks
Printing Make sure you’re connected to the Garage wifi network and select “HQC printer.” You won’t need to download any driver. This will give you access to the black HP printer. ***Lexmark instructions
Communication Be on the lookout for the invite to our Slack channel. Check it out for event updates, other members sharing job openings and leftover food notices. Please use Slack to your advantage! Post about events you are hosting, job openings your company has, or network with others in the space!
Mail A mailbox will be set up for you in the mail room which is right across from Innovation, the last conference room. Please make sure to include your name, business name, and SUITE 100. Example: YOUR BUSINESS NAME SUITE 100 222 South Church Street Charlotte, NC 28202
Fitness If you’d like to use the fitness center and shower facilities please fill out the attached waiver and access will be added to your key fob.
Coffee Fresh coffee is always available in the kitchen. If all the coffee is gone, feel free to make some more. Here’s how: 1) Place coffee filter in the metal basket. 2) Pour 2 1/3 cups of coffee grounds into the filter. 3) Press and hold the FULL buttton 4) In about 7 minutes you will have fresh coffee! **Filters, coffee, and measuring cup are located on the shelf under the coffee maker. If you want to treat yourself at Not Just Coffee, don’t forget to mention to the barista that you are a Packard Place member. You’ll recieve 10% off your order!
Meetings Book a conference room time here (https://222packardplace.skedda.com). We ask that members stay around 5 conference room hours per month.
Events You can stay up to date on happenings, trainings and networking opportunities by joining our Meetup page (meetup.com/ packardplace). Some events that take place each month are: Packard Place Public House - Networking, beer, and food every third Wednesday at 5:30 PM. Third Thursday Legal Lunch - Presentation by a local lawyer/firm. Every third Thursday at 12:30 PM. Lunch is provided. Pitch Breakfast - Pitches from local startups with feedback from a panel. Every second Wednesday morning at 8:00 AM. Community Breakfast - A monthly breakfast just for community members. Days/times will vary - stay tuned to Slack! Want to host an event? Every member is allowed to host one event per month in The Garage for free!
Podcast Studio All members have access to the podcast studio, located on 1M. Let us know if you’re interested in using it and we will show you around!
Wall of Fame The wall of fame is the left side of the hallway in the main entrace with all of the company tiles. Send over a copy of your logo to office@ packardplace.us and we will add you to the wall! Once it’s up on the wall we will need your autograph too.
Balcony You can access the balcony on the second floor through the Queen City Fintech suite. If you don’t really know where you are going, a team member can show you the way. It will be posted on Slack if the balcony is closed.
