EXPORTING REPORTS and CREATING LABELS STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE 1. On your EPIC Homepage, go to Report Center within the blue toolbar, then click Reports.
2. Once you are here, select Private Reports within the left-side toolbar to access your personal reports.
3. Within the report you’ve chosen, go to the right and click the drop-down arrow next to Edit and select Export.

4. This will bring up your Export View Options. Formatted is the “pretty” version. Details only will only be an excel document. For this purpose, we are choosing Details Only.
5. When your list is in Excel, save a copy to your computer, that way you can do a mail merge. 6. Go to Microsoft Word and start with a blank Document 7. Within the toolbar, choose Mailings.
8. Choose the Labels icon.

9. It will have you choose the label. 5660 is a popular address label to use. Select your label and click New Document.
10.You are now going to start your Mail Merge. Click the Start Mail Merge Icon, then hit Select Recipients and choose Use Existing List.
11.Use the existing list you just saved to your computer and click Open. 12. You will be prompted to select a table. Click ok to continue.

13.We will now begin to insert our Merge Fields. Click the Insert Merge Field icon in the toolbar. Then, choose the fields you want on your address label. For example, you could choose; First Name, Last Name, Home Street, Home City, Home State/Providence, Home Zip/Postal Code.
14. When you are selecting your fields, be sure to put spaces in between the fields and to hit the enter key when you are wanting to start a new line.

15. Once you have selected all the fields you want on your label, you want to insert the Next Record Rule. Go to the Rules icon to the right of Insert Merge Field and choose Next Record from the drop down.
16.Now you will be able to copy and paste the instructions into each label spot. 17. When your page is filled out, click the Preview Forms icon to make sure everything looks correct for your mailing label.
18. Once they are ready, click the Finish & Merge icon and choose Print Documents.

An Additional way to Mail Merge. 1. On your EPIC Homepage, go to Report Center within the blue toolbar, then click Reports.

8. This will make a drop-down menu appear, select Labels.
9. Now, choose the type of labels you have at your office and click ok.
10.You will see your label boxes and the Select Recipients icon appear, click the icon. Then, choose Use an Existing List.
11.From here you are going to go to your files and select the excel sheet with the data and hit ok. If it gives you an error message, copy and paste your information into a new spreadsheet, Microsoft Word might not like the formulas from EPIC. GO TO NEXT PAGE =>
12.If you need to remove anyone off your list, go to the Edit Recipient List icon, this will allow you to uncheck their name.
13.Next, you are going into the address block icon.

14.Here is how you can edit the formatting of their name on the label. Make sure your fields within the excel sheet match the fields on the word document.
15.We are continuing to go down the line, the next icon is Greeting Line, this is where you can select to insert “Dear” or “To”. If you don’t want a greeting, just select “None”.

16.Now, you can click, Update Labels, and they should populate within the boxes.
17.If you would like, once they have populated, click Finish & Merge to print the labels or to edit individual boxes.
