Admin scope of work It is our endeavour to support you and ensure a smooth transition for you and your family during relocation. Subject to the formal transfer letter being issued by the company, we will support you through the transition, following assistance will be provided from admin during relocation
Provide assistance in packing and moving of household goods Provide information related to school admission Contact details and information for house brokers Contact details of agents for vehicle transfer
Transfer Policy Enable a smooth transition of employees who are transferred from one location to another for business requirements and is applicable to only internal transfers involving a change of city and movement of goods.
Applicability
• This policy is applicable to all employees in Godrej (including those on deputation). • This policy is not applicable to employees deputed from GCPL to other GILAC companies and to employee transferred from domestic to international businesses. For international transfers, please refer to International Assignment policy. • This policy is applicable to employees deputed from GILAC companies to GCPL. For Complete policy and entitlement please refer to the Manager’s/ Officers' policy on Godrejite
Limits /Eligibility /Eligibility Transportation of Luggage
Employee is expected to treat monies being spent as their own and exercise prudence while incurring expenses and making choice. The most economic quotes will be approved by HR
Settling-Down Allowance An amount equivalent to 1 month’s basic salary drawn at the time of the posting.
Vehicle Transport
The expense towards transportation of one vehicle and the net outgo on reregistration will be reimbursed on actuals on submission of the supporting documents
Transfer of household goods – Process to be followed Admin to share the list of authorised vendor
Admin will negotiate and finalise the vendor and share the same with employee
Employee has to take 3 quotes from the authorised vendors
Submit the quotes to Admin
Role of Admin: Suggest vendors on - basis of past feedback and experience. Employee to share the final quotes with HR for Approval
On approval packing and movement take place
Negotiate better deals. Handle and resolve service issue.
Employee to submit the bills to Payroll. Payment is made along with the subsequent salary.
Gather feedback on the services.
• One of the vendor could be from outside of the list whom employee’s choice • Any deviation from this must be approved by the Head of the Department. • Transportation of household goods will be reimbursed on production of the relevant supporting's which include packing, loading, unloading & unpacking charges; Lorry Receipt which mentions the size of the truck used for movement of goods. • Employees must claim expenses towards relocation within a period of 60 days from the date of incurring the expense.

Home Search Support • Housing Support from the company is provided in order to bear the cost related towards housing deposit and brokerage charges. Employee can avail of the housing support benefit during transfer. • Housing support equivalent to 3 months basic salary can be availed as a salary advance towards deposit, which will be recovered in 6 equal instalments within 6 months from the date of payment. • An amount equivalent to 1 month rent up to 50% of basic on actuals can be given towards brokerage as a one-time payment.
