Coaches Across Continents (501 (c) 3) was founded in 2008 by Nick Gates ’91. “Education Outside the Classroom” partnerships are now in 45 countries and 50 more countries have requested a partnership.
More than 50 Harvard students and alumni have had the opportunity to become Global Citizens with Coaches Across Continents.
Some students have had long-term roles as Post Graduate Global Citizens.

Coaches Across Continents invests in three-year education based programs with Community partners.
To date, 3,082,183 children on six continents have been directly impacted by Coaches Across Continents programs.
In 2018, Coaches Across Continents will begin work to launch ‘Education Outside the Classroom Hubs’ on 6 continents.

We work on six major educational models including health and wellness, gender equality, conflict prevention, vital life skills, child rights, and fun.
Our ASK for Choice- Bringing Gender Policies to Life curriculum was used by more than 750,000 women and girls in 90 countries on International Women’s Day 2017.
Our work impacts 8 UN Sustainable Goals and 33 targets. And since 2008, CAC has received 21 Global Awards.

Investing in the Global Citizen Legacy Project Student Global Citizen: A tailored program that includes international travel and learning Education Outside the Classroom, Self-Directed Learning methodology. Investment: $5,000 for a 2-4 week program. $8,000 for a 5-10 week program.
Post Graduate Global Citizen: A unique year-long business placement that includes international travel and work with the leading Education Outside the Classroom NGO. Investment: $30,000 for a one-year placement. For more information contact adam@coachesacrosscontinents.org.
More Information: Alumni Professional Development Global Citizen: A structured program including international travel and work to understand the complexities of the UN Sustainable Goals. Investment: $5,000 for a 2-4 week program. $8,000 for a 5-10 week program. Community Partner Global Citizen project: CAC provides three-year partnerships in communities on 6 Continents that educates local leaders on the ‘Education Outside the Classroom’ methodology. Includes in-country education, technology education, organizational transformation, monitoring and evaluation, and NGO development. More Information: Education Outside the Classroom Hub: This unique investment creates a central, continent based Hub that designs, develops and implements, ‘Education Outside the Classroom’ community and country wide projects, and builds process consultancy skills for leaders to build sustainable projects that impact up to 8 UN Sustainable Goals. Investment: $81,000 to $162,000* creates a one-year central location on each continent to provide intensive education programs for community leaders. *Investment depending upon continent.
