Greetings !
It gives us enormous pride and pleasure to share the highlights from our phenomenal CBSE class X & XII results of the batch of 2020. Our sedulous students have, once again, proved their mettle by notching commendable scores typifying distinction and toil. It has been a rewarding experience to witness the colossal growth exhibited and reflected by the Hansarians in their sterling academic performance, thereby surpassing their own expectations as well as standing up to the faith
posed by their mentors in them. The Management, Principal, and the teachers heartily congratulate the
meritorious students and their supportive families for keeping the school flag flying high in its full glory.

In the very many years I've been at the school, it has always provided me with an environment that is conducive for personal as well as academic growth. The school has developed me into an individual who strives to maintain excellence not only in scholastic , but co-scholastic fields as well. I have been provided with the adequate exposure to co- curricular activities like music which have provided me with a source of reprieve in the times of encountering the stress of academics. I credit the individuals I've met in this institution with the growth of my spirit of competitiveness and determination. The peers I've encountered in this institution have stimulated my growth over the years and have supported me in this journey of fourteen long years. I wholeheartedly believe that without this school, I would not have been acquainted with such individuals. Even through the hard fought opportunities and the difficulties I've encountered, this institution has perpetually taught me precious lessons and has prepared me for a future which will include both victories and defeats. Respected Principal Ma'am has also taught me numerous eye opening realities of the world. I have observed her and under her tutelage I have understood how to be a leader, the qualities to adopt, and to avoid. I believe such valuable instincts that have developed in me, are only a consequence of pursuing my senior secondary education in this school. I will always look back and cherish the fond memories that I have come to associate with the school, the faculty, alumni, and be grateful in my heart to have been given the opportunity to build such experiences.

Hansraj Model School has been an integral part of my school life. Having been a child who wandered across different cities because of my father’s frequent transfers, I could not stay here for my entire school life.But, I did have the fortune to begin here in the Kindergarten and finally conclude my schooling in Class XII. The school focusses on the overall development of the student and does not hold him or her back in the class room. Under our Principal Heemal H Bhat Ma’am’s supervision, the school has risen to great heights and achieved milestones in every field. She regularly interacts with the students and inspires them to put their best foot forward in all they do. She very well understands a child’s mindset and knows what is best for them. Hansraj boasts a team of exceptionally talented and experienced teachers who are extremely affectionate towards the students and encourage us at every step. One thing which certainly sets Hansraj apart from other schools is how cooperative and flexible the school is with the student’s plans. It has enriched me with life values that I shall be proud to spread across our community. I take pride on being a Hansarian and give full credit to the school for this achievement of mine !

A few days in our lives, are the days we consider as life changing moments. Result day, is one of those days. Your heart knows that this is the very moment that decides what turn your life is going to take. There is a dual feeling of fear and joy. We think that it is our efforts which decide our result. But deep down, we know this would not have been possible without the efforts of our teachers. When I saw my result, I know it wasn’t me but my teachers who made this happen. People congratulated me, having topped in Humanities with 96% marks, but who deserves all this appreciation, is our honourable Principal Ma’am and her team of very able teachers. Most part of my school life we believe that our teachers scold us, and force us to study , but this is what it takes, to score such grades. I, Arushi Gambhir, whole heartedly thank my Principal Ma’am and teachers for having faith in me. After all, a school is definitely the key to success of its students.

Since its inception, as one of the pioneer institutions of DAV, the school has aimed at the holistic development of the students in various fields of academics, co-curricular activities, sports education and life skills learning. The school has played an instrumental role in instilling in me values like critical thinking, discipline, leadership, honesty, humility, respect for others, self confidence, team work, determination to win and the spirit to accept failure. Overall I am thankful to the school for providing me student friendly environment which has helped me to become a better person.

Success doesn’t come to you,you have got to go to it. I joined my Hansraj Model School in LKG and spent my next fourteen years here. In this long span of fourteen years, the school has helped me a lot in overall development and improving my academic skills. The teachers also motivated me and only under their guidance, I developed my interest in
Mathematics and Sciences. My Principal Ma’am, Ms. Heemal Handoo Bhat was a constant source of inspiration and she worked very hard to ensure quality education and discipline in the school. The school also made me aware about various state level and national level examinations and also
motivated me to clear them. Because of overall support only, I was able to clear JSTSE exam in Class IX , NTSE exam in class X, KYPY (SA stream) in Class XI and KYPY (SX stream) in Class XII and I also secured 98.89 percentile in JEE Mains (January Attempt). In class XI and XII , I developed an interest in Chemistry under the guidance of my class teacher who was also my chemistry teacher and because of this I was able to clear NTSE . Other than the theoretical knowledge in schools we also had proper access to library and labs where we could perform practicals so as to gain better understanding of the subject. When my boards came for the first time in class X, I was a bit nervous but my teachers helped me to reduce my anxiety and because of their constant support, I was able to secure 96.0% in Class X
boards and 95.8 % in class XII boards and I also become the PCM topper of the school. I owe all my success to my school and am delighted to be a Hansrarian.

ANUGYA XII F
Anugya Olyan of 12-F has always been a meritorious student who excelled in academics and co-scholastic activities at all levels. Unfortunately she met with a fatal accident on the day of her class 11 annual result. We were all taken aback, but her tenacity and resilience and the unshakeable faith of her family helped her to sail through the difficult times. Not only did she recover but she bounced back as a fighter. She was not able to attend classes for long but continued to tutor herself at home with
the help of her teachers. The school and her friends always stood in support. Her fortitude and dauntless courage is inspirational. She always bore a smile on her face
which enabled her to sail through and produce excellent class 12 results. It has been our privilege to have her as our pupil. She has done us proud. Her journey has been
inspirational where she walked hand in hand with all those who cared for her and she in return brought a cheer on all our faces. May she achieve great heights, for she deserves to be on top. God bless her.
