If you’ve never worked in the travel industry before, there’s a great deal of knowledge you’ll need to acquire, which requires indepth training. It’s certainly not something that can be achieved in just a week or two. With our Travel Academy, you’ll receive the highest level of training available in the industry over the course of a 32-week training programme. It’s just the start of your ongoing journey, as we support you XS FIGSQMRK E JYPP]ƽIHKIH XVEZIP TVSJIWWMSREP 3YV experienced trainers come from a variety of relevant backgrounds in travel, providing a wealth of expertise across the board. Our Travel Academy programme will teach you everything you need to know about how the travel industry works.

Before coming to your Travel Academy Induction, you’ll need to complete mandatory self-study in preparation for your week at Venus, our Support Team centre in Manchester - getting a feel for the business, building your web page and doing some relevant reading.

You’ll have access to our award-winning ‘Coach’ e-learning platform. Coach was a recent Lemmy Award winner, in the ‘Best Use of Mobile Learning’ category, and gives you access to over 450 online training programmes. We’ll keep reminding you of the Golden Habits - the collective tasks performed daily by our most successful Travel Counsellors - the secret to their success, in other words!

-RHYGXMSR Your ten-day initial induction at Venus covers all areas of the business, including (but not limited to) Product, Technology, Marketing, Contact Centre and Business Development. You’ll also learn how to use Phenix, our integrated booking platform, as well as studying broader business skills and techniques, such as sales training, asking for referrals, valuing yourself and time management.
