ANNOTATIONS: While I was evaluating her work, I noticed that this student was unable to pronounce vocabulary words because she failed to answer multiple activities within the modules with regards to vocabulary words. Upon discovering this, I relayed my concerns to his parents, the parents explained that their kid is still adjusting to the new normal and was having a hard time ingesting the contents of the materials all by herself. With ample time, effort and will power, she was able to master reading vocabulary words. Overall, the student had significant progress.

ANNOTATIONS
:
I prepared this weekly home learning plan so that the parents can monitor and guide their children on their daily activities . I based my WHLP on the module provided by our SDO and made the WHLP congruent to the learning tasks found in the module. In the first few Quarters of the school year, our Weekly Home Learning Plan or WHLP is made in a detailed manner because it is the time when we establish new routines and guide to learners and home teachers. In this approach, they will be aware of what to do whenever they are learning at home. What time should one subject be done and which activities to do in a particular day. As the learners go across quarters, I personally decided to remove some of the outputs and written assessment because I have observed that the learners are bombarded with quizzes and evaluations. I also simplified some topics to be better understood by the

ANNOTATIONS: In crafting WHLP I always give emphasis on the process especially in doing experiments. It is necessary to give the learners detailed instructions in order to achieve better outcomes. I often translate the instructions in Filipino for easier understanding of the lesson and activities. I also realized that whenever the instructions and topics are translated to Filipino, the learners’ feedback are

NAME OF ARTIFACT: Reflective Summary PROFESSIONAL STANDARD STRAND: 7.1 – Professional reflection and learning to improve practice
Ever since DepEd announced that the mode of learning will be transitioned from the traditional mode of learning to the new flexible learning. At first, as a teacher, I was anxious about the drastic change that this will bring in the teacher-learning experience. After all, one of the most important elements in learning is the teacher. At the start of the school year, I knew that I will face a lot of new challenges because of how the COVID-19 pandemic affected the education setting, the pandemic forced academic institutions to close. As the time passed, I went to webinars and seminar to further equip myself with the set of skills needed to efficiently carry out my work as an educator. Looking at the situation that my students and I were in, I could say that they have understood the lesson and acquired the knowledge that is in the learning materials. I made sure that I made the instructions clear so that there won’t be any misunderstanding and issues regarding the outputs. I put in the extra effort to constantly communicate with the parents and often conduct home visitations to see how the students are doing regarding their outputs. With that said, I learned a lot this school year. I believe that I have what it takes to conduct this mode of learning this next school year and the year after. Even though that the pandemic caused a discrepancy with the amount of learning materials and documents that have to checked and processed, I think it’s worth it since it will educate those students that are geographically remote.
