L’Or Écolo Selon Valérie Danenberg
Histoire : Avec un père marchand d’Art et une mère antiquaire, Valérie Danenberg a grandi dans le beau, le rare et le précieux, et c’est donc tout naturellement qu’elle se passionne pour le bijou ancien et complète sa formation par un diplôme de gemmologie qu’elle obtient auprès de l’ING (Institut National de Gemmologie). Antiquaire : forte de cette expertise, elle reprend d’abord l’affaire de ses parents, une galerie de bijoux anciens au Louvre des Antiquaires, avec de très belles pièces Renaissance, Art Nouveau et Art Déco, ses périodes préférées. Créatrice : elle se lance dans la création, mêlant son goût pour le voyage et sa culture artistique et ouvre un show-room, rue du Bac, destiné à ses bijoux contemporains. Inspirations : la nature et l’histoire revisitées par les grands artistes, qu’elle réinterprète sous la forme de fleurs, de lapins ou encore de cerfs, des grappes de tourmaline ou de saphir tout droit sorties d’un tableau du Quattrocento, ou encore, d’esprit baroque, de délicates arabesques saupoudrées de diamants déclinées en anneaux, pendentifs et boucles d’oreilles et des croix byzantines dans l’esprit de Karl Fabergé. Perfectionniste : elle ne travaille qu’avec les meilleurs lapidaires, sertisseurs et polisseurs, n’utilise que des diamants GVS et sélectionne ses pierres avec le plus grand soin pour un résultat, bien sûr, parfait. Ecolo : elle n’utilise que de l’or recyclé, par respect pour l’environnement, car l’extraction du métal précieux est extrêmement polluante et nécessite quantité d’eau et de mercure.

History : With her father a renowned art dealer and her mother an internationally knowm antique dealer, Valerie Danenberg grew up surrounded by beautiful, rare and precious objects. It is not surprising that she developed a passion for antique jewels. This led her to the Institut National de Gemmologie (ING) where she completed her education as an expert gemologist combining art and science. Antique Dealer : Backed by these disciplines her first venture was to continue her parents business, a gallery of antique jewels in Le Louvre des Antiquaires representing historic pieces dating from the Renaissance, Art Nouveau to the Art Deco periods which remain her favorite epochs. Designer : She has entered the world of design creating her own jewels based on her love of art and travel, opening a shop to showcase individual pieces on the Rue du Bac. She finds her inspiration in Nature and History as expressed by great artists which she reinterprets in the form of magical animals and exotic flowers. Using a palette of multicolor sapphires, straight out of a painting from the “Quattrocento”. Her interpretations of more baroque, delicate arabesques sprinkled with diamonds that define her rings, earrings and pendants suggested by the work of Karl Fabergé. Perfectionist : She only works with the most accomplished lapidaries, setters and polishers. Employing only the finest diamonds (non conflict) which she selects with her gemologist eye to perfection all adding to the consummate result. Eco Friendly : Using only recycled gold which eliminates the environmentally hazardous use of mercury and prodigious amounts of water employed in the extraction of these metals from modern mines.
