Manzano Archery Range Safety Rules

Kirtland Backcountry Hunters & Anglers is charted with the base safety office. Any Infraction of the rules will cause the base to review our procedures to ensure we absolutely follow our established guidelines. These rules make the range a safer place to enjoy your recreation.

Membership Always have your membership confirmation on you. If someone else is on the range, ask to see their membership confirmation. If they are not a member, or their membership is expired, refer them to the QR code on the bulletin board. Always be courteous in your approach.

Broadheads and Cross Bows Cross bows are not permitted anywhere on range property. Broad heads are only permitted in if you have your own target.

Guests Guests are always welcome, but don’t let your membership become am membership for two. You must scan the QR code and fill in the applicable information to use the range.

Alcohol It is NEVER permitted on archery range property.

Range Maintenance Club members perform all maintenance. Although you are required to participate in work parties as a working member, periodic work calls maybe be required for special projects or general maintenance as we work to improve the range. If you are scheduled for a work party, please show up.
