INTRODUCTION This e-handbook is designed to introduce and guide you on the UHY Company’s Scheme of Services. Whilst it serves as a communication platform from the company to its Employees, it also serves as a reference for you.

PURPOSE This e-handbook applied to all permanent employees of UHY KL Group which serve as guide on the terms and conditions of service, benefits and other related matters pertaining to the employee’s services with the Group. All permanent employees are required to be conversant with this e-handbook together with the Terms and Conditions of Service as stated in their Letter of Appointment.

SCOPE This e-handbook includes personnel policies and procedures that are applicable to all permanent employees of the Group. However, the respective department might have more detailed departmental instruction, which relate to a specific department or area.

THE CONTRACT EMPLOYMENT & HOURS OF WORK THE CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT APPOINTMENT HR department will give appointment letter to every new employee before reporting duty to specific department.

EMPLOYEE PERSONAL INFORMATION The updated personal information must me provided for record purposes upon accepting the contract employment.

PRE EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL CHECK UP All new employees shall undergo a medical check–up prior to issuance of the letter of employment.

ORIENTATION PROGRAMS General orientation is conducted by HR department to new employees to ensure they understand the group's policy, benefits, the nature of business and group's structure. Departmental orientation is conducted by Head of SBU of new employees.

PROBATION & CONFIRMATION

All permanent employees must serve on probation for 6 months and could be extended to another 6 months from appointment's date or terminated if the employees does not meet the group's expectation.

HOURS OF WORK An employee is required to adhere to the normal working hours as specified below at all times: Monday - Friday : 8.30 am – 5.30 pm Lunch Break : 1.00 pm – 2.00 pm
