about the The Open Wefted Cap & Closed Wefted Cap Open Wefted The open wefted cap has a natural skin top that resembles a scalp. From the crown to the nape, there are many wefts (rows of hair) sewn horizontally across from ear to ear. The area between each weft is open. Many people who have tendencies to get headaches prefer this cap because it does not feel as tight on the head. If you pin your wig up, the open wefts can allow you to put pins through the cap into your own hair to assure a firmer fit. The open wefts allow more ventilation to the scalp or hair underneath. The SL1, SL2 and PT styles are not available in this cap. Open wefted caps are available in size medium. Other sizes are available as a special order. Closed Wefted (HM) The closed wefted cap has a natural skin top that resembles a scalp. From the crown to the nape, there is a stretch material that wefts (rows of hair) are sewn horizontally across from ear to ear. Potential options of sizes and capsAll open wefted wigs in stock come in medium size only. All closed wefted wigs in stock comein medium and large. All silicone wigs in stock come in size small only.If your head does not fit this size you can either have the wig adjusted by taking it in or out orcustom order a size that fits. Milano always recommends that if the style and color is perfectbut the size is either a little too big or small, it is preferable to have it adjusted. The size andstyle is very important. No two wigs are exactly the same hair since it is human hair. If the sizeis more than 1.5 inches, it may be preferable to have a wig made in a custom size.
