“Learning is not attained by chance, it must be sought for with ardor and attended to with diligence”. - Abigail Adams Education is a life long learning process. Learning happens all the time, not only in designated places but also outside the school. Shaping up young and sensitive minds is one of the biggest challenges especially when we are going through a challenging situation of Covid-19 and the need of the hour is to work together with innovative ways. Schools across the country were closed as a part of a slew of measures to contain the virus. We, at R.D.Rajpal School know how to materialize every deed into action and continuous growth of the students possible. I do acknowledge that online teaching can only complement learning and not replace school which prepares children for better and responsible life. Nevertheless, we made the best use of the online teaching classes which included not only academics but various other activities including Yoga, Art, Debates etc. for the overall development of children. We tried to make the best use of opportunities in adverse situations. We accorded priority to all the children across primary to higher grades because learning at every stage deserves equal focus. With changing times, our priority is to move beyond the tendency to just complete the syllabus. Instead, writing different genre of text, fluency in reading with understanding, oral expression, number sense, emotional resilience, life skills, healthy and hygienic practice are the key areas of engagement between children and their teachers.

Ms. Alka Kshatriya (Principal)

We assure that every child is important to us and all of them have equal right to physical, social , emotional and intellectual space of this school. My team of colleagues at R.D. Rajpal School are very grateful to not only children but their parents for the co-operation and faith they repose in us during this tough time of pandemic. Assuring you our best endeavours for our children in R.D. Rajpal School!!!

I am a treasure; Someday, Somewhere, Someone discovered me...

BOOKS - UNIVERSE BEYOND IMAGINATION

The more you read, the more you stimulate your creativity. We aim to ignite the minds of our enthusiasts to new possibilities. The children are involved in various activities like story narration, reading of e-newspaper and books with wise usage of dictionary. This helps children become articulate and well spoken during online class sessions.

CRAFTASTIC WONDERS– OUR LITTLE PICASSOS Craft activities give a chance to embrace creativity. Students were involved in various craft activities to get in touch with their inner artists. In addition, these activities helped them to develop mentally, socially and emotionally. They enjoyed making photo frames, tablemats and a house using origami. The sparkle in their eyes expressed their enthusiasm and irresistible will to execute their ideas.

Small hands can change the world to make a better place for living. Keeping the motto of ‘LET THE GREEN BE SEEN’ and to increase the awareness of saving the planet Earth, Plant a Tree activity was conducted on April 22 to celebrate the Environment Day. Students planted saplings and prepared posters, wrote beautiful slogans showcasing their little steps to save the Earth.

PURSUIT FOR PERFECTION

Deep and long - lasting learning involves understanding, relating ideas and making connections between prior and new knowledge, independent and critical thinking and ability to transfer knowledge to new and different contexts. Learning is not something done to students, but rather something students themselves do.

LEARNING BY DOING

BOOKS - UNIVERSE BEYOND IMAGINATION

COLLABORATIVE LEARNING - SOARING TO EXCELLENCE Connecting academic situation to the real world is one of the largest benefits of project based learning. It provides opportunities for students to collaborate or drive their own learning. It teaches them skills like problem solving and helps to develop critical thinking and time management. Students of all classes were engaged in research work and practical application of learning and prepared charts, videos and PowerPoint presentations. They used their creativity to make the learning meaningful.

Family is a blessing “ where life begins and love never ends”

Count your blessings as family time is designated time to interact with each other. Strengthening family bonds reinforces respect and improves communication as well. The love of a family is life’s greatest blessings. Children were taught that it is a privilege to spend quality time with their families. On the account of Family Day, certain activities were conducted and children realised that in every conceivable manner, the family is a link to our past, bridge to our future.

VIBRANT MELODIES - LET’S TAP TOGETHER

Dance and music in any form cannot be excluded from the curriculum of education. During this crucial time, we are continuing with the educational curriculum via online dance and music classes. Children danced and sang in different activities organized for them in the comfort of their homes. The students participated with great enthusiasm and confidence.
