SVdP’s Annual Business Meeting will be held in the Parish Center on 2/24/19. The Medford Orientation was very well attended and those in attendance were very appreciative of the informative presentation.

At the end of the day, may my heart be filled, my hands be emptied and my mind at rest.

Bl. Frederic Conference by Don Fasching It’s been a busy month, as usual, and our staff and volunteers have served 1,082 meals and donated 362 hours. Thanks to Mike Carter, our Kitchen manager, for improving operational efficiency and continually suggesting ways to improve service. His efforts are to be commended and we are very grateful for his dedication and service. Among many other things, he has reorganized and refinished the storage units and painted the outside of the building. The Conference met with the Food Bank director to discuss procedural issues pertaining to the Kitchen’s allocation of food. It was informative and provided a better understanding of the food distribution process. Council president, Ranae Thornton, and Conference president, Don Fasching, met with UCAN administration members to discuss problems occurring when the Mobile Kitchen serves at their location and as a result, along with UCAN, we have adopted a list of rules governing client behavior which will be enacted at each of the lunch location sites. The Kitchen is always in need of food and monetary assistance. Without community involvement, we would be unable to provide this necessary service. The staff would like to thank everyone who gives so generously and allows us to continue this worthwhile ministry. St. Anne Conference by Deanna Smole We are truly grateful and thank each of you for your help to our Social Services Office. Please see page 1 for more information. St. Joseph Conference by Theresa Wentzel Our Thrift Store is very blessed and appreciates your wonderful, exciting, unique, useful and beautiful donations! They provide our customers with “one stop shopping”—Lovely Attire (for men, women, children), Home Décor, Books, Games, Furniture, Kitchenware, Jewelry, Collectibles AND Christmas has arrived! Stop by and enjoy the Christmas wonder and beauty while selecting decorations and unique gift items. You may even consider volunteering your time and talents, a three hour shift, one day per week, Tuesday through Saturday, 10:AM to 4:PM. If interested, please call 541-476-5137. Christmas Blessings everyone!

Amen
