OLLIVER House
Your perfect place for holidays, celebrations and adventures.
If you’re looking for somewhere special to stay then look no further than Olliver House. Here, you can relax in style, as privacy and grandeur come hand in hand making this your perfect destination for social gatherings, family reunions, or shared holidays with friends.
This North Yorkshire holiday retreat is an immaculate 9-bedroom Victorian farmhouse, just a short drive from the picturesque market town of Richmond and set in open countryside amid soft rolling hills. Once home to the Earl and Countess of Ronaldshay and their four daughters, Olliver has recently been fully renovated to create a truly exceptional holiday home. Having been painstakingly and beautifully resorted by Lady Ronaldshay and her team, every room oozes quality and charm without losing any of the sense of Olliver being a warm and comfortable family home. Big really does mean beautiful and large reception rooms are both stylish and spacious but with a cosy, intimate feel. The house accommodates up to 18 guests and the décor is an eclectic and interesting mix of old and new with contemporary flourishes and modern artworks complementing more traditional pieces.
OLLIVER House
A home for everyone –
whatever the occasion!
Olliver House lends itself to every occasion and is also ideal of groups and family activity breaks. There is a large boot room/drying room for outdoor gear and a secure bicycle store for cyclists to use. All creature comforts are provided – not least under floor heating making the original stone floors toasty, an Aga and conventional oven, deliciously confortable beds and ample storage in every room – but this is not a house bursting with gadgets and bling. Quite the opposite, guests will enjoy peaceful country living in a blissful hideaway, be it to meet up with extended family; cherish some good old-fashioned downtime, or catch up with groups of old friends.
