To introduce our team booklet, we found resources in Peterborough, Ottawa, and the Greater Toronto Area. For each resource, we included information such as the name of service/program/agency/specialist. Also, contact information – address, phone number, website, brief description of the service being provided, fee for service (e.g., free, sliding scale), whether a referral from a doctor/specialist is required, and other pertinent information. When conducting our search, we could find Counsellors quite easily that provide services to clients with ADHD, Anxiety, stress management, Bullying, self-harm, suicide prevention, Mood disorders (Depression, Postpartum Depression, Bipolar), and Substance abuse/addiction. However, when searching for Counsellors that support clients with Dementia/Alzheimer’s, it was quite tough, it is a marginalized group with little support it seems.
