Student Bios ANASTASIA ADAMS (Bird Girl/Hunch) is a freshman appearing in her first WA musical. She is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the fall play and chorus. Ana is also on the dance team for marching band and involved in school clubs such as Students in Action, iLead, and Stand Together.

BRYLINN ADAMSON (Dance Captain/Hunch) is a senior appearing in her second WA musical. She was also Dance Captain in 9 to 5: The Musical and is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the marching band. Brylinn has also spent fifteen years at Luanne’s School of Dance with ten years of competitive dance. After high school, Brylinn plans to attend Slippery Rock University for art therapy.

LAUREN ANDREWS (Pit Orchestra) is a senior playing in her first WA musical. She is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the fall play, concert band, marching band, jazz band, chorus, and handbell choir. Lauren has also helped run the Grab n Go for the past ten years. After high school, Lauren plans to take over the Grab-n-Go and start her own personal business.

Student Bios GRANT BAURLE (Pit Orchestra) is a senior playing in his fourth WA musical. In past musical productions, he has also played the alto sax for The Drowsy Chaperone, The Addams Family, and 9 to 5: The Musical. He is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the concert band, marching band, jazz band, and handbell choir. Grant has also auditioned for honors band the previous three years, participated in Western Allegheny County Area Honors Band for three years, and is a member of the National Honor Society. After high school, Grant plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown to major in civil engineering. KEVIN BECKER (Wickersham Brother) is a senior appearing in his first WA musical. He is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the fall play. Kevin is also a proud member of the National Honor Society and represented by Talent Group PGH for acting / modeling. After high school, Kevin plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh to major in economics.

KATIE BLEIL (Pit Orchestra) is a senior playing in her second WA musical. She was previously a member of the pit orchestra for 9 to 5: The Musical. She is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of concert band, marching band, jazz band, chorus, show choir, and handbell choir. Katie has also been a figure skater at RMU ice arena for 14 years, a member of the West Hills Symphonic Band, in the Western Allegheny County Area Honors Band, a three-year member of PMEA District Band, an AP Scholar, and a member of National Honor Society. After high school, Katie plans on attending Penn State University or Westminster College to pursue a major in biochemistry and molecular biology.

Student Bios ALEX BOOTH (Jungle Ensemble/Judge Yertle the Turtle/Hunch) is a sophomore appearing in her second WA musical. She was previously one of the ancestors in The Addams Family. She is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of concert band, marching band, chorus, and show choir. Alex has also been involved in PMEA band and chorus festivals for four years.

GRACIE CAMPBELL (Mayzie La Bird) is a senior appearing in her fourth WA musical. She was previously Doralee in 9 to 5: The Musical, Morticia’s Girl in The Addams Family, and in the ensemble for The Drowsy Chaperone. She is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the fall play, marching band, chorus, and show choir. Gracie has also studied art during her four years of high school and is creating a senior art installation for the art show. After high school, Gracie plans to attend a four-year college majoring in early childhood education with a minor in theatre.

JACK CAMPBELL (Wickersham Brother) is in 8th grade and appearing in his first WA musical. He is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of concert band, marching band, percussion ensemble, chorus, show choir, and speech & debate. Jack also takes private drum lessons.

Student Bios ELLA CHANDLER (Bird Girl/Hunch) is a junior appearing in her third WA musical. In previous productions, she was a Hart Girl in 9 to 5: The Musical and in the ensemble for The Addams Family. She is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the concert band, marching band, chorus, and show choir. Ella has also danced at Thomas Dance Studio for 13 years, is a member of the National Honor Society, and is a worship leader at Crossroads church.

MYA CLAY (Gertrude McFuzz) is a senior appearing in her fourth WA musical. In previous productions, she was Missy in 9 to 5: The Musical and in the ensemble for The Addams Family and The Drowsy Chaperone. She is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the concert band, marching band, jazz band, brass ensemble, chorus, show choir, and handbell choir. Mya has also played volleyball for school and club (Kokoro), played softball for twelve years, and participated in PMEA District Choir. After high school, Mya plans to go to college at either Washington & Jefferson or Seton Hill with an undecided major. AUDRA COOK (Thing 1/Who/Cadet) is a senior appearing in her second WA musical. She was in the ensemble in 9 to 5: The Musical. Audra is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of chorus and show choir. She has also been a three-year varsity tennis player serving as captain senior year, a three-year varsity swim team member, and an active member of the National Honor Society. After high school, Audra plans to attend West Virginia University to study mathematics with the intent to continue into law school.

Student Bios ADAM CRAWFORD (Vlad Vladikoff/Who) is a senior appearing in his first WA musical. He is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of chorus and show choir. Adam has also lettered in varsity baseball for one year, is a PIRHL champion with WA Inline hockey, and 2x Indian Pride Award recipient. After high school, Adam plans to attend California University of Pennsylvania for a degree in communications and to further his baseball career. SYLVIA MAE DONAHUE (Who/Cadet) is a senior appearing in her fifth WA musical. In previous productions, she was in the ensemble for Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Drowsy Chaperone, The Addams Family, and 9 to 5: The Musical. She is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the concert band, marching band, and chorus. Sylvia has also done five years of community service projects through Crossroads Church, nine years of dance performances, and three years of vocal training. After high school, Sylvia plans to attend Robert Morris or Penn State University for hospitality management. DYLAN EGER (Pit Orchestra/Stage Crew) is a senior participating in his second WA musical. He was a member of the stage crew for 9 to 5: The Musical. He is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the fall play, concert band, marching band, jazz band, brass ensemble, and chorus. Dylan was also selected for the PMEA District Band Festival, helped with the Middle School jazz band for four years, and is a member of National Honor Society. After high school, Dylan plans to attend Slippery Rock University and major in parks and resource management.

Student Bios SEAN EMMETT (The Grinch/Who) is a junior appearing in his second WA musical. He was in the ensemble for The Addams Family. Sean is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the concert band, marching band, brass ensemble, chorus, and show choir.

SARA FINNELL (Bird Girl/Hunch) is a sophomore appearing in her second WA musical. She was a Hart Girl in 9 to 5: The Musical and is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the fall play, PHSSL Drama, concert band, marching band, and percussion ensemble. Sara has also been dancing for eleven years and was involved in a program called “Empowering Female Voices.”

ELENI FITSIORIS (Mrs. Mayor) is a sophomore appearing in her third WA musical. In previous productions, she was in the ensemble for The Addams Family and 9 to 5: The Musical. She is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of chorus and show choir. Eleni also participated in PMEA Chorus festivals for three years and has received a Scholastic Art Award.

Student Bios AYDEN FREED (Mr. Mayor) is a junior appearing in his third WA musical. He was a police officer and in the ensemble for 9 to 5: The Musical and in the stage crew for The Addams Family. He is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the fall play, stage crew, PHSSL Drama, marching band, jazz band, chorus, handbell choir, and speech & debate.. Ayden is also a member of the National Honor Society, Drama Club, and the film crew for the WA football team.

MIKE MCGIVERN (Pit Orchestra) is a senior playing in his third WA musical. In previous productions, he was in the pit orchestra as a percussionist for The Addams Family and 9 to 5: The Musical. He is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the fall play, concert band, marching band, and percussion ensemble. Mike has also been a snare in the drumline and recognized as an AP Capstone Scholar. After high school, Mike plans to major in computer science at the University of Pittsburgh. DYLAN MERSING (The Cat in the Hat) is a senior appearing in his fourth WA musical. In previous productions, he was Franklin Hart, Jr. in 9 to 5: The Musical, Gomez Addams in The Addams Family, and in the ensemble for The Drowsy Chaperone. He is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the fall play, chorus, and show choir.. After high school, Dylan plans to attend Edinboro University and major in sociology.

Student Bios SKYLER MILLER (Thing 2/Who/Cadet) is a senior appearing in her second WA musical. She was in the ensemble for 9 to 5: The Musical. She is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the fall play. Skyler has also been a varsity cheerleader for four years. After high school, Skyler plans to attend Duquesne University as a biochemistry major with a concentration in neuroscience, where she plans to move forward as a clinical pediatric psychiatrist with a special focus on juvenile special needs and mental illness. CHRISTOPHER MORRISON (General Genghis Kahn Schmitz/Wickersham Brother/Hunch) is a junior appearing in his fourth WA musical. In previous productions, he was the Detective and Mr. Tinsworthy in 9 to 5: The Musical and in the ensemble for The Addams Family and The Drowsy Chaperone. He is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the fall play, concert band, marching band, chorus, show choir, and handbell choir. Christopher is also a member of the National Honor Society, lettered all three years in crosscountry, and is a student ambassador. NATE PRESUTTI (Horton the Elephant) is a junior appearing in his fourth WA musical. In previous productions, he was Dick in 9 to 5: The Musical, Uncle Fester in The Addams Family, and in the ensemble for The Drowsy Chaperone. He is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the concert band, marching band, jazz band, chorus, and show choir. Nate has also played the piano in the orchestra for five shows at Stage 62 and takes voice and acting lessons. He would like to give a special thanks to Sandy Pucci, his voice and piano teacher, and Amy Dehaven, his acting teacher.

Student Bios RACHEL SABO (Bird Girl/Hunch) is a sophomore appearing in her third WA musical. In previous productions, she was in the ensemble for 9 to 5: The Musical and The Addams Family. She is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the marching band, chorus, and show choir. Rachel also takes voice lessons at Higher Voice Studios.

SARAH SABO (Jojo) is a senior appearing in her fifth WA musical. In previous productions, she was Margaret and a Hart Girl in 9 to 5: The Musical and in the ensemble for The Addams Family, The Drowsy Chaperone, and Thoroughly Modern Millie. She is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the marching band, chorus, and show choir. Sarah has also taken voice lessons at Higher Voice Studio. After high school, Sarah plans to attend Duquesne or Grove City for special education and psychology.

OLIVIA THOMPSON (Jungle Ensemble/Hunch) is a senior appearing in her first WA musical. She is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the chorus and show choir. Olivia is also the president of the Future Educators of America, National Honor Society member, and vice president of the class of 2021. After high school, Olivia plans to attend Pitt and major in elementary education.

Student Bios CERINA WICHRYK (Sour Kangaroo) is a senior appearing in her fourth WA musical. In previous productions, she was Roz in 9 to 5: The Musical, a featured dancer in The Addams Family, and a member of the ensemble for The Drowsy Chaperone. She is also involved in the arts at WA as a member of the fall play, PHSSL Drama, marching band, chorus, and show choir. Cerina has also served as the co-president of the drama club and a member of the Flilipino American Association of Pittsburgh. After high school, Cerina plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh and major in computer science.

Staff Bios

MICHAEL GREER (Director/Choreographer) is overjoyed to be returning to West A for a fourth year and to be working with such a dedicated team. A South Fayette HS graduate, Michael has BFA in Musical Theatre from Point Park University. Favorite performing credits include Grease (Johnny Casino), Up & Away (Joe Jessup), Hand to God (Timmy), Altar Boyz (Luke), You Say Tomato, I Say Shut-Up! (Jeff Kahn), Miss Saigon (2010 Tour), Beauty & The Beast (Gaston) The Full Monty (Keno), & Shrek, The Musical (Big Bad Wolf). Michael has performed with Pittsburgh CLO, City Theatre, The Denver Center, Four Seasons Centre Toronto, Kansas City Starlight, & North Shore Music Theatre. Michael also served as the Associate Choreographer on A Christmas Story, The Musical at the Seattle 5th Avenue Theatre and Shrek, The Musical at Tuacahn. His favorite role is husband to Mara and Dad to Maple Rose. MARA GREER (Assistant Director/Assistant Choreographer) is honored to be a part of the West Allegheny musical for her fifth year, the fourth alongside her invaluable husband, Michael. Originally from Louisville, KY, Mara attended the Youth Performing Arts High School in Louisville and then received her BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan. She now works as a performer and director/choreographer across the country. Most recently, Mara directed and/ or choreographed A Christmas Story, the Musical (Paper Mill Playhouse, Fulton Theatre, Gateway Playhouse), Shrek, The Musical (North Shore Music Theatre), Matilda (Tuacahn), Legally Blonde and 9 to 5 (Sacramento Music Circus), Thoroughly Modern Millie and Guys and Dolls (Music Theatre Wichita), The Toxic Avenger and Double Threat Trio (Pittsburgh CLO), The Music Man (Lexington Theatre Company), Oliver! (Plymouth State University), The Drowsy Chaperone (University of Michigan), The Addams Family (Fairmont State University), Big Fish (Front Porch Theatricals), Candide (Chautauqua Opera), Die Fledermaus (Palm Beach Opera), Elf the Musical (Engeman Theatre), and the 2015 Lucille Lortel Awards in NYC. As a performer, Mara has worked on Broadway, National Tours, London’s West End, and regional theaters throughout the United States. However, Mara’s favorite credit is being a wife to Michael and a mom to Maple. TOM SNYDER (Producer) is producing his 24th WA musical after 6 years as conductor of the pit orchestra. He is in his 40th year of teaching, the 37th at WA, and will be retiring from teaching in June. Mr. Snyder serves as District Arts Coordinator, responsible for music, visual arts, theater, dance, speech and debate, and also teaches 6th grade Music History and 7th-8th grade Intro to Piano classes. With degrees from Clarion State College and Duquesne University, he is also currently the associate conductor of the West Hills Symphonic Band, a saxophonist with the TMG Big Band, and the state Music Performance Assessment Chair for PMEA.

MATT MCBURNEY (Assistant Producer) is excited to be brought on as a firstyear member of the production staff. A 2012 graduate of West Allegheny, Matt was a cast member in six musicals. He has degrees in Applied Math, Math Education, and Statistics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a master’s in Data Analytics from Slippery Rock University. After serving as a teacher and musical producer at South Side Area School District for three years, Matt is back at his alma mater teaching math, physics, and programming classes while continuing his involvement in the arts. TERISA A. SHARLOW (Music Director) is returning for her second year as a member of the production staff. Mrs. Sharlow earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from The Crane School of Music and a Master’s Degree in Reading Education from The State University of New York, both in Potsdam, New York. She is an active member in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association and the National Association for Music Education. Mrs. Sharlow is in her 27th year of teaching music in public schools within Pennsylvania and New York. She started her career at Potsdam Central Middle School before moving with her family to the Syracuse NY area. Mrs. Sharlow is in her 11th year at WA, where she has taught kindergarten through fifth grade general music and fifth grade chorus. She is currently the director of the choral program from sixth through twelfth grades. Throughout her tenure as a music educator, Mrs. Sharlow has served as guest conductor in New York State for The St. Lawrence County Jr. High All County Chorus, The St. Lawrence County Elementary All County Chorus, The Oswego County Elementary All County Chorus, the 2018 PMEA District 1 Elementary Singfest, and the 2019 Mercer County High School Chorus. In addition, she has directed her local church choir and established numerous programs within the school districts that she has been employed. Mrs. Sharlow has thoroughly enjoyed working with this outstanding cast. She is thankful for their hard work, dedication and sharing their love of singing. T.J. FOX (Orchestra Director) is directing the pit orchestra for his second musical at West Allegheny. While attending Highlands High School in Natrona Heights, Mr. Fox performed in the pit orchestras or performed on stage in grades eight through twelve. After graduating in 1994, he attended Duquesne University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Music Education in 1998. Mr. Fox is in his 23rd year of teaching, including time at the City of Monessen School District, Riverview School District and the British School of Costa Rica. Mr. Fox is in his 14th year at West Allegheny, where he is currently the high school band director, directing the marching band, symphonic band, wind ensemble and jazz ensemble. He has also directed high school pit orchestras for Anything Goes, Guys and Dolls, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The King and I, My Fair Lady, Oklahoma!,

AARON DENK (Technical Director) is excited to return for his eighth year as a member of the production staff. A 1998 graduate of West Allegheny High School, Aaron was a member of the Stage Crew from 8th-11th grades and a member of the cast of Hello Dolly! in his senior year. He is a member of I.A.T.S.E. Local 3, working in all of the theaters in downtown Pittsburgh as well for many concerts and events at the PPG Paints Arena and the Pavilion at Star Lake. Aaron enjoys working within the theatre industry in Pittsburgh and is excited to be back at WA sharing what he has learned with our current students. JOSH DUDUKOVICH (Deck Chief/Assistant Technical Director) is proud to be involved with his eleventh West Allegheny musical, his third as a member of the production staff. While attending WA, Josh was a member of the stage crew for Footloose, 42nd Street, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Catch Me If You Can. After graduation, he volunteered to assist with building sets and with the tech crew backstage for Chicago, A Chorus Line and Thoroughly Modern Millie before joining the staff. Josh is also currently Assistant Stage Manager for the high school, an AV technician at Every Event AV, and a member of the Imperial Fire Department. NICK STAUB (Assistant Technical Director) is a third-year member of the production staff.  Nick graduated from WA in 2018 and was involved in the stage crew for Chicago, A Chorus Line, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and The Drowsy Chaperone as well as The Addams Family and 9 to 5: The Musical. He is currently a junior at Robert Morris University studying cyber forensics and information security with a minor in software design and development. Nick is also currently Assistant Stage Manager for the high school.   ANDREW DAVID OSTROWSKI (Lighting Designer) returns to the production staff for his third West Allegheny musical after lighting Hello, Dolly in 1998, and 9 to 5: The Musical last year. National credits include The National High School Musical Theater Awards in NYC, The Asolo, Virginia Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre, George Street Playhouse, TheatreWorks, Penn’s Landing Playhouse, New York Theater Institute, Merrimack Repertory Company, The Arden Theatre Company, Spoleto Festival USA, Madison Opera, Dallas Summer Musicals, as well as, others. Internationally his designs have appeared in France, Sweden, Scotland, and Ireland. From 1998-2003 Andy was the lighting director for an international tour of the Gershwin opera “Porgy and Bess”. Rick attended Duquesne University for music and has been a sound engineer for over 30 years. Over the years, he has mixed concerts for numerous regional and national artists and worked on over 30 musical productions, including Ain’t Misbehavin’, Into the Woods, Little Shop of Horrors, My Fair Lady, Kiss Me Kate, West Side Story, Cabaret, Guys and Dolls, and Candide. ROBERT WEISS (Assistant Sound Designer) is assisting with implementing the sound design for his third West Allegheny musical. Bob is a graduate of Gateway Technical Institute and works primarily as a Journeyman Plumber. He also has assisted our sound designer, Rick Montgomery, with providing the sound for concerts and events throughout the region. Bob worked as a stagehand at the iconic Pittsburgh nightclub, Graffiti, back in the 80’s and also plays bass guitar. Bob lives in White Oak with his wife and two children. MICHELLE NOWAKOWSKI (Costumer) is returning for her sixth West Allegheny musical. Michelle is an independent costume designer working primarily with students in the Pittsburgh area. Recent projects include costuming for CLO Academy, CAPA, Stage 62, Keystone State Music Theater main stage, Robert Morris University, Moon Area HS and OLSH among many high schools she has worked with over the years. Also a talented musician, Michelle recently served as the music director for Seussical at OLSH. She also teaches costuming for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.

MICHAEL HOLL (Photographer) is providing photography services for his fourth West Allegheny musical. A Pittsburgh native, Michael studied trumpet and attended Langley High School. He later attended the Pittsburgh Center for Gifted and Talented, which later became Pittsburgh’s Center for Performing Arts (CAPA). He studied Music Education at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and received his Masters in Music Education with a minor in Music Technology at Duquesne University. Michael has taught music for 32 years in Maryland and Pennsylvania, the last 26 years teaching 4th and 5th grade Instrumental music at Chartiers Valley Intermediate School. The band program at his school has grown from 30 to over 180 students in three ensembles. He has served on the board of directors for Pittsburgh Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and performs with the West Hills Symphonic Band. Michael has also worked for many marching band programs in the Pittsburgh area. In the last year he has been featured artist, cover artist and featured photographer in 27 international photographic magazines He currently lives in Oakdale with his wife, Sue, and his children, Amanda and Shawn. STEPHAN DEGROSKY (Program Designer) is designing the program book for his eighteenth West Allegheny musical. A 1986 WA graduate, Mr. DeGrosky is in his fifteenth year as director of middle and high school bands at North East School District near Erie. At North East, he has been involved in many different aspects of show production for Cinderella, Annie Get Your Gun, Pippin, Back to the 80’s, Seussical, The Wizard of Oz, Once Upon A Mattress, Oklahoma!, The Secret Garden, Titanic, Shrek the musical, All Shook Up, The Drowsy Chaperone and The Addams Family. He taught for eleven years in the Aliquippa School District where he produced seven musicals, including the first ever high school production of Smokey Joe’s Cafe􏰧. Under his direction, the North East High School Marching Band has won 9 LMBA Class AAA Championships and 3 Bands of America Class A Regional Championships and has appeared at BOA Grand Nationals twice. Stephan also taught music for two years at WAMS and was a member of the marching band staff at WA for eight years. Stephan and his wife, Jennifer, reside in North East with their two sons, Jonathan and Jeffrey. DAWN HOFFMANN (Co-Box Office Manager) is returning for her ninth year as a member of the production staff coordinating ticket sales. She has been employed by WASD for ten years, currently as secretary to the high school principal.
