Application Flexibility. Digital printing is not for ultra short runs only. Applications like variable data printing or personalized jobs can be produced easily with all Versafire machines. But not enough, the Versafire CV can print CMYK and optionally an additional 5th color thus enhancing the portfolio which can be offered to customers greatly.

Commercial Print Solution. Versafire CV from Heidelberg® is the new digital printing system, especially developed to match the needs of print industry customers. With its high throughput, constant print quality and high flexibility, it offers best price-performance ratio, minimizes makeready times, eliminating paper waste.
The flexible Allrounder. Versafire CV Key features at a glance: • High throughput up to 2,700 A3 sheets/hours or 90 A4 sheets/minute (simplex) • New applications with white or varnish toner • Fine detail reproduction with 1,200 × 4,800 dpi with low temperature/high gamut toner • Wide media flexibility on material up to 360 gsm • Consistent production with elastic fuser belt even on structured media • New business opportunities with optional scanning up to 220 A4 pages/minute • High availability through up to 14,700 sheets tray capacity • Printing-on-Demand with optional finishing solutions • Output consistency between offset and digital with Prinect Digital Frontend Output security. To decide where to print a job, either on a digital device or on an offset press, is sometimes not so easy. Costs, but also flexibility is a decisive factor. In any case, the printed product on both systems have to be identical. Using the Prinect® Digital Frontend controller, this is ensured. The same PDF interpreter and color engines are used for the output on the Computer to Plate system (e.g. Suprasetter® from Heidelberg) and the Versafire CV when using the Prinect workflow system.
