As you p ra ise the S p irit in P ro s p erity , you have m ore m oney. Bless w hat you w ant, and say no to w hat you do not w ant. T his p rin c ip le o f treatm en t is as old as the h ills them selves. T he basis o f tith in g has never lim ited the one who tithed. A lw ays he has p ro sp ered . Give ten percent o f your incom e to sp iritu a l activities and give ten percent o f y o u r th in k in g tim e to acknow ledging the P rin c ip le which p ro sp ers you. N ot everyone realizes the extent to w hich he is lim ited by sub conscious th in k in g about the past. T he good old days b rin g p sychological lim itatio n s. W hen we try to re cap tu re a g lo ry we h ad in the past we lim it ourselves. H ow ever, w hen we look fo rw a rd we expect g re a te r accom plishm ents th an any we have ever experienced in the past. O ne o f o u r g re at artists when asked w hich was his greatest p ain tin g alw ays re p lie d , “ T he next one th at I d o .” H e alw ays looked ah ead . The g re atest song is yet to be sung. T he great A m erican novel is yet to be w ritten. O u r g re a t est talen ts are yet to be aw akened an d brought fo rth into th e ir f u ll expression.

W e have access to the one M ind o f the u n i verse but it can b rin g new ness into o u r lives o nly th rough new concepts. I f we assum e that we know all the tru th we w ould be shutting out new concepts o f tru th . M ind is infinite and we can keep ourselves receptive to its infinite flow. Robert H. Bitzer

B ut w hen we co n sider th a t G od’s Infinite M ind is everyw here, because S c rip tu re tells us th at God is O m nipresent, we u n d ersta n d th at the m ind we use m ust also be a p a rt o f a U n iv ersal W holeness. T he B ible tells us, God is Love, w hich m eans self-givingness, th e re fo re , every positive and affirm ative thought is using the pow er o f God, w h erev er it is directed. In R eligious Science we believe th a t affirma tive p ra y e r is the secret to the p ro sp ero u s and h ea lth y life.
