GLOBAL PANDEMIC !
The year 2020 hasn’t been up to par to say the least, our day to day life has come to a halt due to the covid19 outbreak which stopped plenty of activities that we enjoyed to experience everyday like sport, schools, and social meetups with friends. Although the vast majority of activities taken from us, music has pulled through the pandemic and is still going strong. This year a bunch of great hip hop albums have been released and I will list some of my favorites
MUSIC TO BE MURDERD
.First off, “Music To Be Murdered By”, released on January 17 by 15 time Grammy winner “Eminem”, has debuted at number 1 on the billboard 200, with 279000 units sold in the first week, which made Eminem to be the first artist to have 10 consecutive to debut at number one. With currently 217.6 MILLION streams during the first week. “Music To Be Murdered By” got good reception from fans, and once again Eminem has showed he is still on top of the game despite of being 47 years old. One of the top tracks on the album is "Godzilla” featuring the late rapper “juice Wrld” where Eminem has broken speed record with 7.23 words per second, beating his previous record on “Rap God” with 6.46 word per second.
HEAVEN OR HELL
The album “Heaven Or Hell’’ by rapper and singer Don Toliver got released on March 13, featuring some big names like Travis Scott, Quavo, Offset, and Sheck Wes. This album has reached number 7 on the billboard 200. With 12 tracks on it containing “No Idea”, which is the highest Don Toliver’s highest reaching single on the us billboard top 100. I suggest listening to "Cardigan” and “After Party” which became very renowned on video sharing app "Tiktok”.
ETERNAL ATAKE
Now to one of my favorite artists “Lil Uzi Vert” has released “Eternal Atake” on March 6 topping the US billboard 200, becoming his first album since 2017. With 18 tracks on the album most notably with “Futsal Shuffle 2020” and “Baby Pluto” accomplishing 350 MILLION in its first week. Following such a success “Lil Uzi” dropped another album a week later called “LUV vs the world 2” which acts as a sequel to his album “LUV vs the world’ released on 2016. The album has special appearances by the likes of Chief Keef, 21 Savage, Future, Young Thug, Gunna, and NAV. The album got an astonishing 400 Million streams in its first week. This week was a big turning point for Hip Hop fans to get their mind of the unfortunate pandemic that had people locked up in their houses.
A DARK LANE DEMO TAPES
Most recently, “Dark Lane Demo Tapes” by wildly known singer and rapper “Drake”, released on May 1, just a few days ago from writing. This Album is considered to be a preparation for a bigger album to be released in this years summer. Some of the featured guests are Future, Young Thug, Chris Brown and Playboi Carti. While still in its first few days this album has a lot of potential.

COVID-19: FINANCIAL
AND
SOCIAL
IMPACT
IMPACT OF THE VIRUS: Talks of COVID-19, also known as the Corona Virus, have been stirring up the internet lately. So, how has COVID-19 really affected the world financially and socially? The new corona virus which originated from Wuhan, China, last December has quickly spread all over the world.
ECONOMIC IMPACT
Moreover, there has been a reduction of international flights to prevent spreading, but also there is no worldwide shipping anymore, making ordering packages online extremely difficult. Another problem coming from the virus are people losing their jobs and companies laying them off, such as Uber and Airbnb who have cut off thousands of workers amidst the pandemic. Other companies choose to cut people’s wages in order to keep up with the economic loss. On the other hand, the economic downfalls of social distancing protocols are a sacrifice that is needed to be made, since the healthcare workers may not be able to keep up with the great new number of new cases, which could end up leading to the healthcare system collapsing.
The virus outbreak has become one of the biggest threats the global economy and financial market have ever faced. The outbreak has caused many major institutions and banks to be forced to cut their forecasts for the global economy. Concurrently, fears of the corona virus impact on the economy has caused markets worldwide to tremble, with stock prices and bond yields plunging.
SOCIAL IMPACT There have also been social difficulties arising as a result of the COVID19 outbreak. Firstly, one of the main social problems that have arrived from the corona virus spread, are individuals not wanting to get close to their family members that have not been quarantined with them, to the point of not even allowing them inside the house.
Secondly, people not being able to see their friends might be huge disappointment causing them to be bored. In addition, many people had big life events planned for them including: marriage, engagement, and graduation ceremonies, however now they have no idea when it will be rescheduled due to the pandemic.
The financial shock from the corona virus is very severe, even comparing it to the Great Financial Crisis in 2007-2008. China since has shown that it is possible to contain the corona virus and stop it from spreading either through social distancing or reduced mobility, nevertheless this comes with a significant economic cost.
Furthermore, self-isolation has been shown to cause mental health issues and exacerbate existing ones. Children especially might be affected by social isolation, for those who might already be experiencing loneliness, this could bring out serious problems such as depression. To add to that, loneliness can wreak havoc on an individual’s physical, mental and cognitive health. Research has confirmed that perceived social isolation and loneliness are associated with depression, cognitive decline, poor sleep quality, a weaker immune system, and potential heart problems.
WAYS OF COPING There are methods that people could use to cope with the self-isolation, which include exercise, meditation, and connecting with nature. Overall, these activities can stimulate the production of neurotransmitters like dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, and endorphins, all of which promote mental health and stability.

COVID-19 & SPORTS
The coronavirus pandemic has sent shockwaves around the world, leading to a public health emergency that has killed thousands and plunged the global economy into what the international monetary fund warns could be the sharpest downturn since the Great Depression. Not surprisingly, COVID19 has also upended the sporting calendar, with professional leagues everywhere suspending their activities to limit the spread of the virus. Even the Summer Olympics, typically one the world’s most-watched sporting broadcasts, has been pushed back a year.
Before the pandemic the sports events was in good form and every leagues was known for them which team is in the first place after every week, in the permier league Liverpool was the first, also in the NBA bucks was in the first place, moreover the international cups the team was based on how every player plays.
MAR. 2020, ISSUE 5
This pandemic affected the sports events by, first all of the leagues has stopped, secondly the international teams can’t choose any player now because off the outbreak also every league can’t know which club deserves the trophy, third thing fifa can’t decide when the leagues will complete their matches due to the lockdown and the international cups, moreover clubs has lost a lot of money because there is no ads to the clubs and the clubs is supposed to give to the players.
Fifa and nba should do future plans for sports for example they can cancel this season in all the sports and start the new season in November like every year and also to do a plan to know what will they do if any lockdown happened again and how to let clubs make money in any lockdown

BEGINNING OF ONLINE
ADVANTAGES OF ONLINE
LEARNING
LEARNING
After the COVID-19 pandemic, all students had to stay at home. As a result, online learning started spreading ,as it was the only way the educational system could have continued. Just like any other thing, the system had both advantages & disadvantages .
One of the most important advantages of online learning is the direct access to many information resources, as it gives access to the largest libraries in the world. Just from your seat. Moreover, almost all students prefer working from their comfort zone,in this way less pressure is applied on the student and that would surely have a great impact on the student’s performance. Moreover, students wont face problems due to lack of sleep and having to wake up early every day.

DISADVANTAGES OF ONLINE LEARNING
On the other hand, if online learning was to be considered the main way for the educational system it would sure have negative impacts on the students. As it might be harder for the teachers to meet the student needs at a distance. Not only that, but also technology glitches must be solved by students. Also, sometimes the amount of written data is overwhelming for students.
SUMMARY
To wrap it up, online learning is a double edged weapon, and the consequences will only be decided by the way you used it. It’s also a good solution during the lockdown period. However, as a long term system, there will be many details that we should focus on improving.

The Pandemic Corona Virus By : Abd El Mohsen Mohamed
The corona virus, also known as covid-19, is a dangerous pandemic virus that has invaded the world. The virus is known to infect the human's lungs and prevent natural breathing. Of course, this virus has a lot of disadvantages, but also accompanied with some advantages.
The Disadvantages of Corona Virus First of all, the biggest disadvantage of this virus is that it kills humans, which means numerous people will lose their family members, friends, or beloved ones. Actually, the virus has killed more than two hundred thousand people.
Another disadvantage of this virus is that it has forced countries to have a complete lockdown to control the spread of the virus. That means companies and factories are shut down. As a result, many people have lost their jobs, and even the economy of some countries have dropped enormously because of this lockdown.
The Advantages of The Corona Virus On the other hand, the virus has benefited the environment positively. To elaborate, due to the lockdown, the human activity has almost vanished: no factories, no car fumes and definitely no garbage. Consequently, less harmful chemicals are dispersed into the environment, resulting in the closing of the ozone hole and having cleaner air, seas and oceans. Another environmental advantage for this virus is that the wild animals that suffered from habitat destruction caused by humans are now moving freely in the streets looking for food ,and a place to live in . The lockdown has made parks, gardens, and streets empty for wild animals to live freely without being disturbed by humans.
In short, Covid 19 virus is a blessing in disguise.
TEENAGERS By : Habiba Walid INTRODUCTION
A myriad number of people might speculate that teenagers nowadays share the same lifestyle as teenagers in the older days, if you’re one of the advocates of such an idea, fasten your seatbelt as I am about to disprove your false claims. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TEENAGERS NOW AND TEENAGERS BACK IN THE DAY
Firstly, teenagers in the old days liked investing in what could be interesting for them to do in their free time. For example, there were teenagers who liked hanging out with friends all day long playing board games, others liked going shopping alone or with their friends, other teenagers liked spending time with their family, and of course there were the artists who liked drawing and painting, many of which could be exceedingly talented in what they do, that they could sell their drawings and gain money just from doing their passion.
Sadly, teenagers nowadays are not like this anymore, Of course there are some things they still do in common like hanging out with friends, but the difference is they don’t play board games together anymore, instead everyone holds their phone, so even though they’re all together in the same room everyone is isolated in their own bubble which is in no way different than staying at home, hence, outings are no longer fun and exciting.
DECISIONS
Furthermore, when we take education into consideration, surprisingly a higher percentage of teenagers nowadays choose to continue their education and not drop out of school or college. Not only do they seem a lot smarter in making social and health choices, but also they are less likely to start smoking. As one would expect this is due to educational programs in schools and increased media coverage on these subjects. This in return assists teenagers to score higher scores in exams than the teenagers from older times used too. SUMMARY
In a nut shell, teenagers have altered over the years, in both positive and negative ways. Thankfully, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, teenagers nowadays got to see the world in more or less the same way as previous teens used too, this caused a lot of people to reunite with their neighbors and even start cycling all around their neighborhood just like the simpler times, so at least there’s a silver lining to this whole lockdown thing!

FORMULA 1 By Maher Ahmed/9D
IS THE ABSENCE OF DANGER DESTROYING FORMULA 1? with the first race for the World Championships at Silverstone, is one of the most popular races in the world being fast-paced racing with no advantage which means that anyone can win. Nevertheless, people tend to avoid this race latelt because it lacks the danger that it used to have in the past. Is formula 1 race actually losing its popularity because of the absence of danger?
On one hand, some people believe that the absence of danger has caused the race to lose its glory. Former F1 driver, Anthony Davidson, said in an interview with The Guardian that "I feel a driver should be challenged and should be punished for mistakes. It's what makes people follow the sport in quite a gruesome way—it's the danger, racing drivers should be heroes." On the other hand, others believe that more safety measures should take place to ensure the safety of the driver. Although safety is way better now, there is still risk of serious injurious and even death. For example, Jules Bianchi , a French driver, has lost his life accident is one of the most fatal accidents happened in 2015 when he collided with a Marussia team car into a tractor crane, stationed on the outside of the bend. The moist lane caused him to lose control of his car and drive off the track at a very high speed. He remained unconscious until he died in the same year.
To wrap it up, Formula 1 race is still a dangerous race that needs more measure to ensure the safety of the drivers. Although some fans argue that implementing safety measures has taken away some of the excitement that comes with danger, the safety of the drivers should always come first .
THE QUARANTINE
Covid-19 virus that has infected millions of civilians all over the world. This virus has originated in a city in China called Wuhan. Until now there is not any medicine or vaccine produced to eliminate the virus. Due to the quick spread of the virus, The World Health Organization has recommended people to stay at home. Following WHO instructions, a lot of countries have decided to have a complete lockdown. The quarantine forced on people worldwide has had many pros and cons.
By : Nour ElDin Mohamed
On one hand, staying at home during quarantine has a lot of positive sides. First, you can improve your cooking skills. By watching videos on YouTube, you can learn how to cook and bake. Moreover, you can spend quality time with your family members; you can have many fun activities with your family. In addition to this, you can catch up on all the films and series you have been planning to watch on Netflix. This is the perfect time to watch La Casa De Papel.
On the other hand, staying at home during quarantine has a lot of negative sides. To begin with, boredom is your first enemy. You have a lot of time that you need to know how to make use of or you will feel down and frustrated. Another drawback of the quarantine is the financial problem related to family who need to work to get money. These unlucky families suffer a lot because of quarantine. Finally, gaining weight is another major problem that has occurred because of staying at home, doing nothing but eating .
To warp up, staying at home has its advantages and disadvantages. You need to make the best out of this experience and try to minimize its negative impact. Stay home. Stay safe!
POLLUTION
By : Mariam El Hadary
INTRODUCTION
Pollution is disrupting our planet and sooner rather than later there will be nothing left other than the debris created by the carelessness of humans towards the planet, so to save our earth here are a few simple suggestions. First, conserving water is our first aim. better treatment of sewage, using environmentally friendly products, taking public transportation instead of driving a car, or riding a bike instead of traveling in carbon dioxide-emitting vehicles are a couple of ways to reduce pollution. Save our Earth. CAUSES OF AIR POLLUTION
Entire ecosystems can suffer fatal effects because of air pollution. Haze, like smog, is a discernible type of air pollution that conceal shapes and colors. Hazy air pollution can even muffle sounds. Air pollution, whose particles eventually fall back to Earth, can directly contaminate the surface of water and soil bodies. This can kill young trees, crops or reduce their yield.
WATER POLLUTION
Drinking untreated water may cause diseases in humans, drinking or consuming polluted water in any way has many disastrous effects on our health. It causes typhoid, cholera, hepatitis and various other diseases. Moreover, it may cause the destruction of ecosystems, which are extremely dynamic and respond to even small changes in the environment.

Lockdown and Quarantine in Egypt
After the outbreak of coronavirus globally almost four months ago, governments of the world made lockdown rules on citizens and curfews to prevent further spread of COVID-19. Unlike most countries of the world, Egypt does not seem to be on lockdown as it should be.
By : Omar El Basty
Many Egyptians seem to neglect lockdown orders as you can obviously see that the city is as crowded as any other year. Some people argue that whether a cure is discovered or not, we will have to return to our normal lives someday and that it would not matter. Others seem to neglect these orders only so they could work and be able to supply their families with money which can be understandable.
On the other hand, I, as well as many Egyptians are aware that this is an important and risky issue because one second of exposure can cause a person to become infected, and he may infect others and those others may infect other people in an infinite cycle. It is necessary that we remain at our residences no matter how long it takes to find a vaccine or a cure for COVID-19.
To conclude, no matter how much effort the government exerts on the matter, some people would not obey the orders. The problem is that Egyptians need more awareness on the issue. They also need to be more well-educated in their period of lives during school, so that their understandings of issues of this dangerous sort may be swiftly obtained.

discusses the results of air pollution and its effect on health.
CAUSES OF AIR POLLUTION
There are various of reasons that causes air pollution. To start off, air pollution is produced when solid and liquid particles—called aerosols—and some gases end up in the air. These particles and gases can be dangerous for the planet and for our health, because they affect the climate, the earth’s reflectivity and help in cooling down the temperature of the planet. Moreover, a gas called ozone has a crucial cause in air pollution. Although ozone helps in blocking harmful energy from the sun; however, when it is close to the ground it can threats our health. For example, make us hard to breathe, damage the air ways and cause chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
EFFECTS OF AIR POLLUTION
Bad air quality kills people. Worldwide, poor air caused an estimated 4.2 million premature deaths in 2016, about 90 percent of them in low- and middle-income countries, according to the World Health Organization. People who cook and heat their homes by biomass, kerosene, and coal, their health are in danger because of the indoor smoke. Air pollution has been related to the rise of rates of cancer, heart disease, stroke, and respiratory diseases such as asthma. SOLUTIONS
There are solutions for this crisis-such as: limit the use of fossil fuels, conserve energy, use renewable energy for example: solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy and water waves. Last but not least, use energy efficient devices the uses less energy and produce a great amount energy.

Moreover, after school, the suffering continues. These students do have a very tight schedule, because they should study, do their homework and train for three hours daily. So, the only time to take a break & sleep is in the car while heading back home from school or on your way back and forth to the club. Despite the effort these students do to balance between sports and studying, the school does not seem to appreciate this much. They only care about academic performance which they always acknowledge it. Not only this, but most of the time, these students are not excused when they miss H.W. because they do not have time for the homework because as a result of an important training or a championship.
To conclude, Schools should respect and appreciate the young athletes and help them. The school should accept excuses for the missing homework. Support sports, support tomorrow’s champs.
Art Projects To Do In Quarantine By : Maya Ahmed
Art soothes your mind and calms you down even in the toughest times, so whenever you feel down pick up your paintbrush and let your creativity flow.
10 Art Projects To Do In Quarantine By : Maya Ahmed
Due to the recent unfortunate events; we are all required to stay at home for our safety and others as well. Since quarantine is boring, I have prepared 10 art projects you could do to kill boredom.
1- Origami: Origami is paper art where you fold paper in particular ways to form various objects like boxes, for example. Here’s a tutorial: https://youtu.be/Cd5Z8hmcb 10 2- Recreate an old drawing: Go through your old sketchbooks and pick out an old drawing from a few years ago then recreate it to compare how much you’ve improved.
3- Paint or draw something out of your comfort zone: I almost never draw portraits so I decided to start trying and it was amusing. Usually people avoid something because they’re either scared or are bad at it, but either way with practice and patience you’ll get it right.
4- Abstract art: Abstract art is basically different and unique art where you paint with unnatural colors. Here’s an example. https://youtu.be/3Bc1Vte _dWA
5- Digital art: Digital art is on your computer or Ipad and using either a mouse or an Ipad pen. Like this one: https://youtu.be/cj0Flab1YmQ
6- Food art: Bake a cake and decorate it with different colored frosting and in different shapes as well. https://youtu.be/xi3VKIv7nDM
7- Paint using an unusual object: Normally, people use paint brushes to paint but you can try using sponges or even your fingers. https://youtu.be/wHPbE2WBkZg
8- Paint on an unusual object: Usually painting occurs in a sketchbook or on a piece of paper but you can try other surfaces like for example, sockets, chargers, pillows, or mobile covers. 9- Refashion: Refashioning is recycling an old piece of clothing so that you can reuse it as a different item. You can do that by cutting, sewing, or painting on it. https://youtu.be/KJfuYLwa3cs
10- Yarn art can be crochet or simply sticking yarn on paper to make different designs. https://youtu.be/ofQryG5et Wc By: Maya Ahmed
SCHOOL INTRODUCTION Have you ever wondered if going to school is not important and a waste of time? Nowadays, it’s popularly believed that going to school isn’t that necessary. I’m strongly with the fact that going to school is essential.
ADVANTAGES To start off, what could be more dazzling than not only having your child to learn in a public school that offers him a very well experienced teachers, but also teaching him a certain degree of independence. For example, keeping track of his own class schedule, finding his way from one class to another, purchase his own lunch, and make it to and from the bus everyday make him more independent and responsible.
By : Layla Nassouf
ACTIVITIES Secondly, many schools offer sports and other options like art and music. Doing sports leads to having a healthy body, which makes your child participate more in class and makes him improve. Another example is if your kid likes music and may want to follow the music and singing career, as might be expected, school gives him the chance to do it and provides music instruments and music teachers for him.
SUMMARY Unquestionably, I believe that going to school is ten times beneficial than homeschooling. Therefore, go to school and rock your grades.
Rap Evolution
By:Selim Mostafa Rap is a type of music which rhymes words on the beat. Being part of the hip-hop culture, it contains the spoken words and the beat. It is also controlled by the flow and the delivery of words. The rap music is one of the most special genres of music and that is not because of how popular the music genre is, but it is because of the history of this type of music.
First, rap was developed in United States of America by inner city African Americans and Latino Americans in 1970’s in The Bronx. It began when DJs started to use some of the elements of disco and funk music to create a repetitive beat. DJ Kool Herc is credited as the father of rap as he is the founder of rap music and beats back in his school parties; he used his two recorded turntables to create loops, repeating the beat, and extending the song.
Dj kool Herc
In the 70’s, the hip-hop music became unstoppable, but the DJs were more dominant than the rappers; the beats were the known about hip-hop and the lyrics were not that important yet. Until 1979 when Kurtis Blow signed to Mercury Records, and he was the first rapper to sign a deal which made the DJs and the rappers equally needed to produce a great song. In the following year, the Fatback Band and the Sugar Hill Gang released records that hit the billboard top 40. This was a big win for the rap community, but the DJs were uninterested as they preferred playing their records in the parties.
Kurtis Blow The year 1980 was a big change to the rap music to spread. DJ Grand Wizard Theodore accidently invented the act of scratching and the “needle drop” which made rap and physical djing go to another new level. In 1982, the two rappers Melle Mel and Ed debut a song, and this was a project to change lyrical content and the hierarchy of hip-hop forever which marks the beginning of a whole new era. Until 1984 the lyrics were simple and rap was not delivering it’s message yet until the new generation began to change the lyrics and use rap to talk about life problems and mainly rappers where from African Region which made them rap about the racism against black people, and how they suffer in their lives just because their skin color. That is why the rap community was the field where black people are superiors r as they used it to defend themselves, and they are the founders of this genre.
Dj grand wizard theodore
he rap popularity expanded geographically and the coasts began to enter the rap game. This was helpful to the rap community as the costs had a lot of talented people like famous Ice T was one of the people who joined from the west coast, but there was a problem about the explosion of costal rivalry as in the year 1990 a great split happened because of the difference in style and contents decisions. Consequently, there was the battle of west coast versus east coast. The rivalry wasn’t only because of geographical division, but also there were difference in personalities which divided rappers into gangs and this caused a lot of changes and crimes which led to the death of Tupac Shakur and the notorious B.I.G. on the other hand, this incident caused a change in their contemporaries which ended the history of crime in rap. Tupac shakur
In the 2000’s the young rappers began to be involved and the development of electronics made everything easier for rappers. This introduced a lot of rappers like the legendary Eminem who changed a lot in the rap game. Although he is not black, all the black rappers felt that he is one of them. He talked about his childhood suffering and his talent impressed everyone. Eminem
Rap never stopped developing and the fan base expanded more by time. A lot of new genres branched from the hip-hop, and it became easier to be a rapper or a DJ in the rap game. As a result, new types like trap rap, lyrical rap, mumble rap, silly rap and a lot more started to appear. These talents changed the flow of music like the Travis Scott, Lil Uzi, Drake and Offset and a lot of rappers are now developing and changing in the rap game. Now every country has its own rappers
Travis Scott
To conclude, rap expresses people suffering in an interesting way. Unlike other genres, it doesn’t need good voice. It just needs a person who can relate to the world. lil uzi vert
SOCIAL MEDIA B
B
Social media plays a major role in people’s lives as it has a great impact on them. teens have been addicted to social media all around the world. Sitting with a phone communicating with cyber friends is easy and fun. Social media has changed the world lately, but it does have its positive and negative impacts. Social media allows students to have more friends and communicate with people easier and faster just by a press of a button. It also helps teens to work and learn faster with lower effort and difficulty. Social media also gives teens skills to be more confident and independent as they can search for anything they want, and they can learn anything through videos.
By By : Mostaf Ahmed : Mostafa Ahmed
On the other hand, social media has negative impacts as well. I t prevents people from actual interaction with each other. sometimes we witness a group of friends sitting with each other; yet, they are not talking; they are holding their smart phones instead. Another disadvantage is that social media contains a lot of rumors and cyber bullying content which can affect people and cause depression for some users
To conclude, social media has its negatives and positives as every other thing. So, we have to make sure to avoid the negatives and use its positives.

Animal Testing SHOULD ANIMALS BE USED IN TESTING
See it Through their eyes BY YOUSSEF EHAB HEGAZY
Did you know that in the US labs there are over 100 million vertebrate animals used annually in experiments. Animals are deliberately made sick with chemicals or infected with diseases and are then killed when the experiment ends. Although animal testing is useful for humankind, it is cruel for the animals to suffer for the sake of humanity.
Animal testing is the use of live animals in scientific experiments or tests in which animals undergo something that is likely to cause pain, suffering or harm. Experimental research is usually conducted in universities, medical schools, pharmaceutical companies, defense establishments and commercial facilities that provide animal-testing services to industry.

Although research in cows helped create the world's first vaccine for smallpox, other studies with monkeys and mice led to polio vaccine; recent analyses suggest that despite efforts to enhance the predictability of animal testing the failure rate has reached 96% still animal testing is aggressively ongoing. The use of animal in experiment is not only cruel but also ineffective. Often animals don’t get many of the human diseases that people do, such as heart diseases, cancer and HIV. Humans and animals are very different so animal experiments sometimes produce inaccurate or unusable results. Not surprisingly, treatments showing promise in animals rarely work on humans!!
Weird Food Weird Food
By : Basma Sherif

To start off, guinea pigs may be beloved pets in the United States, but in Peru, they are part of a traditional dish, Known as cuy. Yes, people actually eat guinea pigs, but there is more. If you go to the western part of America, you will find many people feeding on rattlesnakes. Now go have a seat in a Cambodian restaurant, you would be surprised by how many people order fried tarantulas.
Being born and raised in Egypt, I have picked up on a couple of strange things that Egyptians are fond of eating. For example, cows’ feet. More commonly known as kawara. Not only that but, people who enjoy eating sheep lungs aren’t too rare themselves.
You may find it hard to believe that some of the previous dishes are edible, but a lot of them are traditional to some countries. Even though you may find these dishes sickening, odd, and maybe even frightening, they are more common around the world than you’d think.
