YOGA MEANING The word 'yoga' means "to join or Yoke together". It brings the body and also the mind together to become a harmonious experience. Yoga could be a method of learning that aims at balancing "Mind, Body and Spirit". Yoga is a practice with historical origins in ancient Indian philosophy. YOGA AND HEALTH ▪

Yoga views the soma (human body) as a composite of the mind, the body and therefore the spirit.
