Current State & Issues
Unsafe Condition According to the Federation of National Associations of al-Quran Tahfiz Institutions, about half of the country's 1,200 private Islamic schools are not registered.
Ineffective education system There is a critical need for effective and standardized corporate governance that can result in a systematic system of education accountability. Regulations must be followed, technical standards must be followed, and transparency must be based on performance.
Limited Career Options Tahfiz students who finish their Quran memorization studies currently only have expertise in their respective fields. This will allow them to work as Imams or religious educators. If this is commendable, it would be preferable if these Tahfiz graduates (Huffaz – Quran memorizers) could take on leadership roles in society as well as religious positions.
Bad Public Perception a tahfiz school in Kuching, the capital of Sarawak - a state in East Malaysia - received heavy criticism on social media regarding a purported parental consent form listing “absurd” forms of punishment for pupils enrolled there, eg ; Canning 60 times, shaving student;s head etc.

Why the need for more Tahfiz Insitution
Improving the status of Tahfiz as the prestigious institution equipped with a variety field of academic courses while maintaining the practice of Memorization Quran as the heart of the education program. The development of Tahfiz institution are vital as there is a big gap in the context of the education path for Tahfiz stream student in terms of where will they go after high school, the need for more establishment of educational institutions Tahfiz today is very important coincide with the implementation of Kurikulum Bersepadu Tahfiz (KBT).

According to news in the newspapers, Malaysia had 127,583 foreign students as of March, with 70% of them studying in private higher education institutions, and has an estimation of, 30,341 foreign students enrolled in public higher education institutions in 2019.

Visual comfort as an approach to improve ISSUES AND PROBLEM learning performance
The significance of Daylighting towards memorization performance The common method of hafazan is reading and reciting the Quran repeatedly, illuminance level has a strong effect on and enhances students' hafazan results, daylighting definitely has a major impact on students' hafazan learning outcomes.
Inter-relation between Islam and Reading Reading is an activity that necessitates the proper functioning of the human eye, which is closely linked to illumination and visual ease. Numerous studies have been conducted on both Surah An-Nur and Surah Al-Alaq, demonstrating that adequate daylight has a positive impact on human performance.

The example of His light2 is like a niche within which is a lamp;3 the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things (An-Nur, 35)
Light has significant religious significance in Islam. In relation to heaven, the use of light has profound physical and spiritual ramifications, and it is related to religious and spiritual strength, and hence to God himself (Erzen, J.N, 2011) (An-Nur, 35) Erzen, J.N., Reading mosques: Meaning and architecture in Islam.
