PREFACE For decades now, the search for the cure for hepatitis B has proved abortive despite the recent discoveries on using different types models and approaches of oral drugs therapies to slow down the replication of Hepatitis B virus but these drugs often cause other adverse effects even to the detriment of the patient. Some of the drugs available in the market are meant to be used daily for the rest of the life of patient. Today, other medical and alternative to medicines are finding different models to fight this virus. So far, the topic of attaining “functional cure” has become a very interesting research as

the scientific world are no longer considering Hepatitis B surface antigen as the only way to determine if the virus is active, cleared or has gone into hibernation as other similar virus do. E.g., Herpes virus etc. The truth is that the functional cure is attainable with herbs if well administered.
