Teachers’ Activity: Teaching Aid Competition for the teachers and Display Teaching Aid Competition was organized for all the teachers of BLCET fraternity. Beautiful and meaningful teaching aids were created by all the teachers. Academics: Face to Face with Parents – Report Reading The parents and the students were invited to collect the report cards of the 1st terminal examination. All the parents talked to the teachers about their wards’ performance in the examination and how they can improve in the 2nd terminal examination.

XI participated in the competition. Neel Parikh bagged the First prize and added a new colourful feather to the glory of BHS, Alkapuri, General Stream.

Lectures & Seminars- For Teachers: Brain Storming Session on ‘The Future of Education in 21st Century’ All the teachers of BHS, Alkapuri General Stream and Baroda Lions School attended this brain storming session with Hon. Trust Members Shri Prabhudasbhai Patel and Shri Padmanabh Desai. Shri Padmanabh Desai shared his ideas about teaching methodology and use of technology in classroom teaching. He presented a power point presentation on ‘Essential Qualities of a Good Teacher.’ All the teachers participated and shared their views regarding the topic. It was an enjoyable session.

Seminar for the teachers by Mr. Kaushik Rindani Workshop on ‘Challenges of Mentoring Children’ was conducted for the teachers. It was a great learning session. All the teachers enjoyed the session.
Sports Round Up: Chirag Dave of Std. XI participated in State Level U19, Badminton Tournament held at Atul, Valsad. He stood third and was selected for National Level Badminton Tournament.
Darpan Inani of Std. XI participated in IDenizen Smart Campus Banglore Open Fide Rated Chess Tournament conducted by Innovators Chess Academy from 7th Oct to 10th Oct, 2010, at Banglore. He scored 7.5 out of 10. Congratulations and Best Wishes.
