directory of support Rape & Sexual Violence Project (RSVP) is our sister organisation, providing compassionate support for individuals subjected to sexual violence & abuse, across Birmingham & Solihull. Victim Focus is Dr Jessica Taylor’s organisation providing research, consultancy, writing and speaking in forensic psychology, feminism & mental health. Jessica has a PhD in Psychology in which she specialised in the psychology of victim blaming & self blame of women who have been subjected to sexual violence and abuse.
The Survivors Trust is the largest umbrella agency for specialist rape & sexual abuse services in the UK/ They have 124 member agencies based in the UK & Ireland providing information, advice, support & therapy to over 80,000 individuals each year. Umbrella provides free sexual health services in Birmingham & Solihull, including contraception, STI testing/treatment & walk-in centres where no appointment is needed.
The Waiting Room is a directory of health & wellbeing services across Birmingham & Solihull.
Black Country Women’s Aid & Birmingham Women’s Aid support individuals subjected to domestic abuse and exploitation to escape violence, cope with trauma &rebuild their lives. Support from these organisations are available across the Black Country & Birmingham.

She provides a range of resources that explore the psychology of sexual violence to help individuals better understand their abuse. A Disorder for Everyone is a movement challenging the culture of psychiatric diagnosis & exploring trauma- informed alternatives. They host a range of events & offer a range of resources. The Sisters Health Hub is a Birmingham social enterprise supporting women with hormonal imbalances via Health Coaching & Nutritional Therapy. They donate 50% of their profits to charities & organisations working with vulnerable women & children.
Kooth is an online wellbeing community providing free, safe, anonymous support for young people to receive counselling, advice and support online. Safe Hands Thinking Minds is run by Dr Karen Treisman, MBE, who is a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist, providing a range of trauma-informed & responsive resources for children.

Anawim offer a free drop-in space in their Balsall Heath centre for women to meet & connect, as well as offering other holistic services for women over 18 across Birmingham.

Horizon Sexual Assault Referral Centre provide coordinated, forensic, counselling and aftercare services to men, women & people who identify by another gender living in the West Midlands who have experienced rape or sexual assault, recent or non-recent. Mountain Healthcare provides specialist sexual assault referral services for adults and children who have experienced sexual violence or sexual abuse. Coventry Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre provides support for adults & children who have been subjected to sexual violence and abuse in Coventry.
Axis provides support for individuals over the age of 11, in Shropshire.
ROSA provides support for adults & children subjected to sexual violence & abuse in Warwickshire & surrounding areas.
