How-To Change Windows Live Mail Account Settings: This document will walk you through the process of changing your current CBPU email settings in Windows Live Mail 2011 to the new account settings after the email migration to the new system. Step 1: Open up Windows Live Mail 2011 Step 2: Once Windows Live Mail 2011 is open click on the accounts tab at the top (see below):

Step 3: Click on the Properties button Step 4: Once you click the Properties button a new window will appear (see below):

Step 5: Once your email account properties window is opened you will want to click on the Servers tab at the top of the account properties window:

Step 6: After you have clicked on the Servers tab you will see a window that looks like this (pictured below):

Step 7: There are only two things that you will need to do at this point the first is add @mail.cbpu.com to your Email Username. The second is check the box that says My server requires authentication. Step 8: So after you have chosen the option from Step 7 your servers tab will look like this (pictured below):

Step 9: After you have completed step 8 you will need to click on the Advanced tab, and you should see roughly what you see in the picture below:

Step 10: On the Advanced tab you will need to check the boxes that say This server requires a secure connections (SSL) for both the Outgoing, and Incoming mail. You will also need to change the Port number of the Outgoing mail (SMPT) from 25 to 465. Once those changes are made the advanced tab should roughly look like the picture below:

Step 11: Once you have changed everything that this document has covered click the button on the bottom right of the Accounts Properties window. Step 12: After you click apply then you should be able to click the account properties window.
