ARTIFACTS Individual Learning Monitoring Plans Professional Standard / Strand 3.1 - Learners’ gender, needs, strengths, interests and experiences ANNOTATION This new normal gave extra challenge not only to parents but to us teachers as well. In order to help the learner from his needs, I had to follow up the parents constantly. I communicated with them thru text or Facebook messenger. Most of the time I checked the output of the learner whenever the guardian or parent get the modules. I kept on reminding the parent to have patience on their child. Since the parents cannot express or understand English language that much, I accepted Tagalog answers in one of the Performance task I gave. I even translated the direction in Tagalog too. By then, I saw the efforts of the parents to help their child. Thru Summative Test and Performance Test I saw the improvement on him.

Professional Standard / Strand 3.4 - Learners in difficult circumstances 4.1 - Planning and management of teaching and learning process 4.2 - Learning outcomes aligned with learning competencies 5.1 - Design, selection, organization and utilization of assessment strategies ANNOTATION

In my first few weeks of making weekly home learning plan in first grading, I wrote all the activities with their specific instruction. Later on I deleted the instruction then I added pages for every activity. The lesson was divided too into 3 parts which cannot be seen in my first WHLP. In second grading to fourth grading, the improvement I made was indicating where to write the answers, it can be orally or be written in the notebook or answer sheet.

ARTIFACT Lesson Plans ((e.g., DLP, DLL, WHLP, WLP, WLL, Lesson Exemplars, and the likes)

ARTIFACT S Teacher-made/ modified learning resources Professional Standard / Strand 4.5 - Teaching and learning resources including ICT

ANNOTATION In the first artifact, three activities can be shown in “Pagyamanin” . In order to lessen the burden of parents/learners, I excluded 1 activity since the three activities are all writing. It only differs on strategy. In my second artifact, leaners find hard understanding the lesson so I initiated adding instructions through posting in the class Facebook Group . Thus, learners can achieve the expected objective on that said module easily. This approach made the lesson clear and interesting.

Professional Standard / Strand 7.3 - Professional links with colleagues

ANNOTATION Due of this No face to face Teaching, I must say that we were bombard bunches of LAC Sessions, INSET Trainings, Seminars/Workshops virtually and not. I guess the Department just want us to be quality. Thru these we were able to cope up with the needs of learners in this time of pandemic. Personally, I was able to attain my professional goals as well. I was able to use all the learnings in the preparation of observations, test and other professional presentations. This might be an extra work for us but an advantageous as well to develop ourselves.

ARTIFACT S Certificates of participation in any professional development (PD) activities

ARTIFACTS Certificates of participation in any professional development (PD) activities Professional Standard / Strand 7.5 - Professional development goals ANNOTATION These seminars/ workshop were part of my professional goals in my development plan. It introduced me to more strategies in teaching in this pandemic time. The Virtual INSET topics were all essentials in teaching and learning . One of the topics was Video editing which helped me a lot in my classroom observation. The Training on Literacy Instruction was like the traditional seminars but still useful in our situation these days. Strategies taught were utilize in presentations and observations. The write shop in Development of Learning Activity Sheets encouraged or helped me do better in making activities like Summative Test and Performance Test for my learners’ needs. Attending seminars/workshop strengthen my weaknesses in some areas. Hoping to have more activity like these.

ARTIFACT Reflective Summary Professional Standard / Strand 7.4 - Professional reflection and learning to improve practice

MY REFLECTION When I first learned about this LDM actually I thought It was just an additional work/burden for teachers. But as I learned more on this, I realized that this collection of work helps the process of teaching and learning. This LDM helped me improve my abilities as a teachers. It encouraged me to monitor not only my learners but also my achievements for this school year. Truly, this pandemic time gave us teachers more challenges. It tested our patience on learners, parents and on the other demands of this profession. Thru this LDM, I was able to achieve my professional goals. I was able to communicate well with parents. I became more creative on how to make learning easily to learners. I was confident accepting challenges on some extra curricular activities. And personally, I may say I became more patient in handling parents and learners which I may use to other people too. I am a teacher so whatever the challenge may this profession brings I will always do my best. At the end of the day, the Department goals is always providing quality education. Quality teachers provide quality learners. The implementation of LDM molded us to be more compassionate in our profession. Despite of our battle in Covid -19, teachers never stop learning and sharing.

SELF-SELECTED ARTIFACTS

ARTIFACT MOVs on engaging learners for their progress and achievement Professional Standard / Strand 5.2 - Monitoring and evaluation of learner progress and achievement 5.3 - Feedback to improve learning ANNOTATION In order to monitor the progress and achievement of the learner, teachers must try evaluating learners in many ways. Gladly, social media exist. Since I cannot monitor the learners personally, I/we adapt Facebook Group and Messenger Group. Thru these, I was able to communicate with parents effectively. Most of the time I encounter problems and questions in MAPEH 6. Learners find hard to understand the lesson that is why sometimes I post Instructions/Tutorials on our Facebook group. Some who do not have Facebook usually calls or texts. I/We also do home visitation to check if the learner really do his modules/test. To evaluate the capability of the learners, I must be keen as well in checking their output. Some output were obviously answered/written by parent/ guardian.

ARTIFACT MOVs on engaging key stakeholders in the teaching learning process Professional Standard / Strand 6.2 - Engagement of parents and the wider school community in the educative process 5.4 - Communication of learner needs, progress and achievement to key stakeholders ANNOTATION
