Stacking up the count of triumphs, DC Leadership Lion P.V. Prakash Kumar organised yet another successful event. A President- 17Secretary-Treasurer Interface, for all the clubs of the District, was conducted at Hotel Radisson Blu, Egmore. DC Leadership Lion P.VPrakash Kumar presided over the ceremony and gave a warm Welcome Address.In a remarkable turn of events we saw an almost 100% attendance. The banquet hall was packed with barely even standing space,drawing a picture of the glorious year to come. The energy and motivation of the PSTs was unrivalled. The District Governor PMJF LionT.M. Gunaraja kicked off the events with an enterprising presentation. This was followed by a presentation by the Cabinet SecretaryLion C.S. Baalamurugan highlighting on the duties and responsibilities of the PST. Cabinet Treasurer Lion B. Vijayakumar'spresentation elaborated further on the responsibilities of the Treasurers.Lion Ramesh Raghavan livened things up with a quick quiz covering the District Governor's policies and thrust areas for the year. TheII VDG PMJF Lion K.S. Babai, II VDG Elect PMJF Lion A Ghulam Hussain and Cabinet Advisor MJF Lion M.S Velu felicitated. The smoothfunctioning of the event was possible with the efforts of the Masters of Ceremony RC Lion Rajesh M Joshi and RC Lion Selvi Ravindran.

Eden City Project -05/07/2016 LC Eden City conducted a great project in which 50 physically challenged youth were provided wheel chairs, calipers and artificial limbs at a cost of 4.5 lakhs. Golden Park Project -08/07/2016 LC Golden Park organized well a Project Meeting and new member induction on 8th July 2016 at Hotel Clarion.Sewing Machine Golden Globe New Member Induction – 10/07/2016 On 10thLC Golden Globe inducted 15 new members into the club during the Club Installation and aim at making this club a 75 member club before the end of this lionistic year. Installed President Ln Aasai Thambi, Membership Director Ln Suresh Kannan, Zone Chairperson Ln Vetrivel and the charter members are pillars of this highly motivated club. District Governor participated as a Chief Guest and appreciated the Club for fulfilling the promise of adding 15 members. Tricyle and educational assistance projects were done on the occasion. Golden City New Member Induction, Installation and Projects – 14/07/2016 LC Golden Cityduring the installation day inducted 7 members and did 29 lakhs worth educational assistance to 1000 students studying in various schools and colleges. Apart from this Golden City fully sponsors 2 students pursuing MBBS. District Governor participated as the Chief Guest and appreciated the Club Leaders on the excellent service. He complimented the Cabinet Advisor M S Velu for all his good work. Village Adoption. Our district Governors Thrust Area Viilage Adoption has been successfully carried out. All the 11 RC’s have adopted 11 villages to carry out their region club projects in the respective villages. Our Governor with his team had been to the villages and then finalized.26
