LOCKDOWN EXPERIENCE DURING COVID-19 BY STUDENTS OF K.V.NO.-1 AFS JAMNAGAR

My experience during covid-19 It all started with a sudden call, where everyone brought masks on their faces, like a major accessory. Those times when all of us completed out ninth standard exams and gave a damn to additional art such as painting. I made so many of them, just because it was a way more satisfying than daily crowded daigrams and figures for what, we were allowed 5 marks each time. Gathering information out of chaos, what subjects should I prefer in my higher classes as this time it was my 10th. I wrote a dairy in this pandemic, where I found myself, mental peace, my heart, and even what happiness looks like”. As we all know 2020 was bad for many families as we all lost something that may grieve our skins till now. Apart from this, I learnt a lot of cooking recipes and can even remember that trend Dalgona coffee. From drumming those utensils to lightening up our diyas, it was enjoyable. The experience of online classes made me realise why practicals are necessary. Being a teenager there are some difficult times where we can't let go of our thoughts with emotions. We would need to prosper liberty, decisions, many more assets of behaviour. We even lost some legends like Sushant Singh Rajput, hope god rest his soul in peace. Covid helped us to know that keeping loved ones away from us would bring us closer in deserted form. PARI XC

An experience Eyes were dull and sleepy at 5:00am, revising for my last final exam suddenly got a call, it was my friend on the other side congratulating me for exam cancellation. And here the story begins. I heard of this virus before it's spreading in china causing numerous deaths but I thought it’s nowhere in India and hence my exams got postponed just to take precautions that’s why On that morning I was feeling like a bird got free from the cage, I and my friends came out of our houses just after getting the news that exams got postponed, roaming around the streets, laughing crazily. But within 2 days we got instructed to stay at home with a headline that it’s LOCKDOWN and wait, what are lockdown and quarantine? I never heard these words ever before! Then I understood and got familiar with these terms soon. I was not able to accept that there is some virus spreading and travelling all over the globe and to be alive, we have to stay at home because I have never seen so many deaths at a time due to the same cause, I never worn mask before and previously I once bought a hand sanitizer in my entire life just because it was something new! This was a rare and tough phrase in everyone’s life. And during this pandemic, I was riding the rollercoaster of emotions, observations, realization and maturation. I saw the condition of poor people and felt blessed with the life I am living, saw how animals and birds feel independent and delighted without the interference of human, understood that beauty will be of no use without proper health and got to know me and my family a lot better in this period. This time for sure will be a unique period in the history of mankind as well as for me. Though it was sometimes boring, depressing or interesting, it taught countless and significant things to all of us. SHRUTI XC

EXPERIENCE DURING COVID - 19 In my life everything was alright, Then came the corona virus And worried everyone in one night. Then it was lockdown in India, I thought to stop the virus It’s a good idea. But lockdown changed everything, Just stay at home It’s so boring. I got frustrated, I need to stay at home It’s the thing that I hated. Without my friends I feel incomplete, But 'don’t go out' My mother repeats. A life before corona virus, Is what not only me But everyone desires. My life had become boring, But I have not yet Accepted defeat. Name : Prachi Gupta Class : VII

COVID-19:- MY LIFE DURING THE PANDEMIC The deadly Corona virus infection has put the world into a sudden shock with its rapid spread. Initially Originated from Wuhan City of China and has put almost the whole world into a lockdown after the WHO (World Health Organisation) declared it as a Pandemic. Going ahead in this essay, I shall explain how I spent my time during this lockdown. Everyone was at home and my parents did not allow me to play with my friends in society. I stayed at home and played many mobile games. As the first lockdown was about to end, The government declared Lockdown 2.0 and also cancelled our exams. I was very happy to know that this year I will not write any exams and so I didn’t need to study anymore. We were going to get promoted to next class without any exams, but that happiness lasted for few days and boredom was taking over me. Then I decided to start reading books which I haven't done since long time, so I started reading "the packing" Written BY Jerome k. Jerome. That was one of the best books, but that helped me kill just 3 days of boredom, as I was totally free so I used to read books around 34 hours a day. Then I decided to help my mom in cooking, I watched many videos on Youtube and then I decided to make 'Tandoori Paneer Platter' like restaurants, with the help of my mom. After my successful first attempt I made 'Rasmalai' which again in turn was a tasty sweet dish. We had crossed one month in lockdown by that time. We continued experimenting with new and new dishes that includes Mango Ice-cream, potato Chips & Birthday cake for my Father's birthday which we celebrated at home this year. One day I was thinking, this year I am going to enjoy the longest vacation ever but that wasn’t my destiny. Soon after that, one day our school started online classes and that changed my schedule a bit. Now I attend my online class everyday followed by the home-work and assignment but again I like this system of online education more than the conventional one.

Now the government has announced unlock 1.0 and things are coming back to normal a bit but our schools are closed for 2 more months and may be it will take around a year or so for life to return to complete normal. I wish this corona virus to disappear from this world as soon as possible. So that people can live their normal life again. I believe this experience of spread of a pandemic is new for all of us and hopefully we are not going to witness such a bad experience again in our lifetime. HARSH GUPTA XC

The story of COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic was announced on 11 March 2020 by the World Health Organization, marking a turning point for the public health systems serving the health of constituent populations across the globe. This declaration moment is important for narrative on COVID-19 because it is the point at which it is accepted that the virus is not only travelling to different countries, but is now circulating in those countries. Governments are now required to take action to moderate the impact of the infection, reducing harm for the polity until the virus – through the mutation of its biological properties, human immunity, vaccines or some combination of these – takes its place, we hope, among the many other microbes with which human life has found co-existence.

My Covid-19 lockdown experience Covid-19 was once in a lifetime experience for the people of this generation. It brought the world to halt. The whole world was experiencing the same pain, same problem. It was awful, to be honest. Talking about my experience, I heard this term “lockdown” for the first time in my life. My 9th class exams were going on. Social science exam was still left. Day before my exam we were informed that exams were postponed. I felt frustrated as i was well prepared for it. Nonetheless, I slept for long hours the next few days. Then our Prime Minister announced the 21 days lockdown. I was happy that I will play cricket with my friends but it wasn’t to be. Lockdown meant we were confined to our homes. It was awkward sitting idle in the house with nothing much to do. I indulged myself in watching T.V. and smartphone with the plan to start studying for 10th class in the 2nd week of April. Time passed and then I realised the severity of covid. At that time cases were very few in India but looking at the situation around the world made me afraid as well as sad. Our Prime Minister again announced lockdown for our safety. At that point of time I was getting bored in my house so I decided that it was finally time to begin reading a few chapters of class 10th. My family members planned to play ludo every night. It was so much fun. My brother and mom would be in one team and I and my dad would be in the other one. The competition was fierce. It was one of the beautiful time of my day. Laughing with my parents, competing with them in the game. As time passed our class 9th results were announced and our online classes began. Though our teachers tried very hard to make us understand the concepts required still it was not like the physical classroom. As time passed there were lots of emotions going through my mind. Sometimes I felt very lethargic just sitting idle not even moving from my bed, sometimes I felt irritated thinking about the lockdown and covid stuff all around. But this gave me a lesson. And that was “not everything is meant to go your way. Sometimes nature has other plans and we need to accept that”. I learnt how I can overcome the feeling of dullness.

Lockdown made me realise that there are many things other than studies. Studying was the priority but learning various other things are also very necessary. I started reading articles and researches going around the world. I found that I was keen to learn about human biology so I surfed youtube watching videos related to that. I began to learn new words from English. It was quite amazing.

The whole world shifted to online mode. It made us realise the importance of technology. It was the “new normal”. I gave my exams online. It was very weird initially sitting in front of the camera to write our exams but it was an experience. During this lockdown my brother’s board result came and it was like light in the dark. Everyone was quite happy in the house and it was a nice feeling. During the latter part of the year I saw my friends. They had gained weight just like me. All in all, it was a once in a lifetime experience which made me realise many things. Masks, sanitizers became the necessity. Social distancing became an important aspect and it helped me realise and introspect various things about me and hopefully improve me as a person. Living alone with my family made me realise their importance. What they mean to me and how my life will be without them. It made me understand the value of life and money. It made me develop new hobbies. Overall it was a learning experience in my life. Emad XC
