A few weeks ago, we were teleconferencing with one of our neighbors, new parents themselves, who had just purchased the house across the street from us. The wife had seen me walking our son Everest, and she was commenting on the homemade “barrier” we built for our stroller. She thought that we had made the contraption (see attached picture) for “Social Distancing.” We almost fell off our chairs. We went on to explain that our son Everest was born with Congenital Hairy Nevus. Because of this, we have to be extremely careful and protect him from the sun as best we can. We explained that we couldn’t find anything on the market to safeguard Everest from the sun effectively, so we built a solution ourselves, ugly, cumbersome, but more effective than anything find, we thought!! It was our lucky day! Our new neighbors had read the Sweet Baby Shade Press Release about Giving Back to the community and the donation of shades to people effected by COVID‐19. They went on to explain that they were so curious about Sweet Baby Shade that than they visited your website, and immediately purchased a shade. They felt our need was more essential than theirs so they insisted we take the first one and we could order a replacement. When they dropped off the shade, and we took it out of the packaging, we immediately discarded our “contraption” and easily placed the Sweet Baby Shade solution on the stroller and went for a walk. We were horrified to read the article below about a woman in San Jose California who intentionally coughed on 1-year-old after argument with mom over social distancing. There is no excuse for this type of behavior, especially in the middle of a Pandemic.

June 23, 2020 10:27 a.m. ET A California woman intentionally coughed on a 1-yearold baby after an argument over social distancing. The incident, which occurred Friday at a Yogurtland in San Jose, California, took place after the woman was standing in line in front of the baby, her mother and her grandmother. According to a statement from San Jose police, the woman was aggravated that the mother, Mireya Mora, was standing too close to her and not practicing social distancing. The woman removed her face mask, confronted the child in their stroller and coughed in the child’s face repeatedly. She then left the yogurt shop. Investigators believe the customer is a white woman in her 60s, police said, though her identity has not been

confirmed. She has been charged with assault. Mora told KGO-TV in San Francisco that she believes the attack may have been racially motivated. “Me and my grandma are Hispanic, and she started telling me about my distance and harassing me and my son once I started speaking Spanish to my grandma,” she said to the station. Her son had a slight fever after the woman coughed on him, she added, but has since recovered “If he were to get sick … I can’t even imagine,” she said to KGO-TV.
