I am Tarryn, the obsessive, compulsive, passionate, loud, friendly, breast cancer survivor and owner of Madisons Market Café, situated in Epsom Road, Stirling. We're the only permanent, indoor and proudly local Market in East London, with a lovely cosy Café. My Story: In November 2017 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, had a double mastectomy, six red devil chemos, lost all

my hair, had 25 radiations, a port insert, phase two reconstruction, 18 herceptins and finally hit remission (or should I say healed) and had my port removed in April 2019 ... yes it was a long bumpy road, and the after effects are still a daily challenge, but it made me follow my dream and become who I am today and I wouldn't change a thing. I dreamed of having an indoor market where local vendors could be set up permanently without having to set up and down constantly, and their products could be readily available to customers ... well I'm proud to say in December

Sunday 13 March: Outdoor Raku Workshop Raku Workshop with Mandy Qomoyi, ceramicist and former arts lecturer Yellowwood Forest, Morgan Bay Arive 9.30 for 10, until 12.30/1pm Mandy will explain the Raku process, and bring pre-made pots to decorate and prepare for firing under the trees. We'll fire them using an outdoor kiln and smoking drum. Create your own design with wax, and then watch the magic as your pot is immersed in fire, smoke, and water, and finally cools in the air. The process causes cracks in the glaze which are blackened by smoke, creating beautiful and distinctive effects.
