MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB To support geophysics functions within Swakop Uranium’s (SU) current mining and exploration activities. To execute planning of geophysics related work, radiometric downhole probing, management of radiometric tools, data collecting, interpretation of field data collected and evaluating the economic potential of findings. Key Performance Areas:  Pre-planning of projects before on site work, by designing data acquisition plans, deciding on suitable seismic measurement and data processing techniques and adapting data collection procedures.  Performs extensive field work at Husab mine project sites, by collecting data of minerals using appropriate instruments (e.g. magnetometers, various electromagnetic sensors and radioactivity detectors) in order to detect and locate minerals.  Uses radiometric methods of mineral exploration to detect the extent of mineralization.  Examine the physical property of rocks, gathering and evaluating field data in order to build reservoir models.  Sets up and manages the deconvolution of radiometric probing data and applies corrections based on attenuation and other parameters.  Provides recommendations for K factors and QAQC methods for all radiometric equipment used.  Uses radar, computers and maps to study, examine and solve geophysical problems, and to develop current and additional new venture exploration opportunities.  Uses information obtained from testing and equipment readings to determine the kinds of patterns of rock beneath the surface.  Participates hands-on in project activity of the department to gain familiarity with geologic and geophysical objectives as well as related risks involved for the Company.  Conducts structural and stratigraphic mapping and applies seismic and stratigraphic techniques during the performing of duties in area of responsibility.  Identifies, evaluates, develops and recommends additional new venture exploration opportunities.  Co-ordinates and prepares geological maps, cross-sectional diagrams, charts / reports concerning mineral extraction, land use / resource management, using results of fieldwork / laboratory research.  Prepares geophysical inputs and documentation in support of drilling, evaluation and exploration programs.  Stakeholder relationship management  People and performance management  Safety, Health, Environmental, Radiation & Quality Effectiveness Requirements and experience:  BSc. Hons Degree in Geophysics or related Geo - Science discipline.  Post graduate qualification will be an added advantage.  Minimum of 3 years’ experience in geophysics environment or in an open pit mining environment. International experience will be an advantage.  Experience in structural and stratigraphic mapping and application of seismic and stratigraphic techniques.  Experience in geophysical logging system and data manipulation.  Knowledge and working experience in design, testing, modifying and repair of geophysical equipment.  Understanding and interpretation of K factors and QAQC methods.  Valid Code B/BE Drivers’ License

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION To perform general day to day tasks associated with the department. Perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual checks as per the required checklists, take any necessary action resulting from these checklists to ensure plant and equipment operate at optimum efficiency and capacity at all times.  Daily inspection of Plant Room, Freezers, Chillers and refrigeration equipment. (Report all defects to Maintenance Manager.) Update all daily, weekly and monthly check sheets. Determine the Breakdown and Repair requirements and report findings to Maintenance Manager.  Ensure the Certification of Temperature Recording and Testing Instruments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE  Grade 12 (NQF 4).  Trade tested Ammonia Refrigeration Artisan.  Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician in the FMCG industry.  Proficient in English, being bilingual will be advantageous.  Namibian citizen or eligible to become a Namibian citizen.  Must be able to work day/night shifts, weekends, overtime and on public holidays.  Valid Code B driver’s license & own reliable transport. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER: AUCTIONS The successful incumbent will be based in Windhoek and report to the Regional Manager: Auctions Central. Although the successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the retail business, commercial business exposure is also important for this role. As the Accounting Officer for the branch, the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include; setting team goals and targets, ensuring existing company policies and procedures are adhered to and consistently applied, conducting performance reviews to ensure that targets are met, and conducting competitor analyses. Moreover, the successful candidate will also be responsible for; staff development, enhancing efficiency, driving sales, enhancing reviews, and capacity building. The successful candidate will prepare weekly reports that are later used for monthly reports, which reflect branch sales by category, rep sales, stock days, overstock and deadstock, and commercial vs retail sales. • Stock: Management and control of all aspects of stock, including; holding, storing, ordering, and delivering of stock as well as ensuring stock is properly accounted for at all times. • Cash: Management and control of all aspects of cash, including; cash on delivery sales, petty cash, and account payments. • Fixed Assets: Management and control of all fixed assets, including; motor vehicles, fixtures, fittings, office equipment, computer equipment (hardware & software), and all other capital items. • Debtors: Management of all aspects of credit control relating to amounts owing in respect of sales made by the branch, including; cash sales, cash on delivery sales, and sales to staff members. • Performance reviews: Measuring staff performance, reviewing reports and quality assurance of work performed, regular reviews and appraisals of staff performance. • Timekeeping: Ensure that the timekeeping of staff is properly monitored and controlled. • Sales: Line exception reports should be reviewed on a daily basis, so as to ensure that adequate gross profits are being achieved and maintained.
